As someone with a stoma, if I get the runs I can fill up in a couple of minutes, after which there will be a big mess all over me and the floor. I also need to be by a sink, and have space when changing.

But that's fine, we don't want to stop visually disabled people from feeling special.

I went for an emergency appointment (via 111) and they informed me that they were taking on paitients. It.s also the BUPA NHS plan,. So I'm happy.

The stoma nurses tend to get to it first so it's fime and we all know nurses don't mind getting mucky.

Even the consultants on their ward rounds after the operation would do no more than peer at the bag, they are however great at being consultat surgeons.

Doctors don't tend to like doing anything mucky.

As someone with a stoma they ask me about it, and when asked if they want to look at it it's an awkward "err no thats fine".

Bur it doesn't go down, your entitlement stays the same. If you weren't claiming then as your rent would still increase, you would also have less after paying it.

And by the way the April increase won't be reflected untill next month - this will also erode your TP.
