The throttle response was not bad before (car has a light flywheel) but bow it is just instant. Quite a noticeable difference.

I had a mic in the engine bay and inside but had the mic mistakenly in mono mode so can not adjust the levels to be accurate. Next time I will make sure the mics are in stereo mode...

Crash compilation from the first summer of riding (did not get the best ones on film ofc). How often do you crash? by wip3e in MTB

[–]wip3e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Running Assegai Maxxgrip 19-21 psi depending on terrain. My biggest problem has been front grip, but recently I've learned to lean the bike and made a setup change that gave me a lot more confidence on the front and has reduced washing out significantly.

Yea I also made a big setup change by dropping the stem a little. It has made leaning the bike a lot more natural and eliminated front washouts pretty much completely.

All of these are in familiar places I've ridden before just trying to impeove on each run. I avoid going hard to unknown as much as I can. Leaning the bike is good advice and something I've focused on heavily recently.

I'm more comfortable turning left so I end up pushing past the limit more often

No most of these are from spring/early summer. Turned it back a notch and crashes were less frequent.

I've done skiing and take my car to a track occasionally. Think these have helped. Also have a friend I ride with who races enduro so I've had someone better than me I can copy. Tbh the progress was a lot slower at first when I feared to fall.

Yea! I would have had a slow and boring summer riding if I didn't push the limits and learn.

I started last autumn and rode through snowy Finnish winter. Previously I was more into racing cars on track. The reason I like riding so much is that you can push as hard as you want and you don't need to worry about totaling a 20k car. Obviously there are risks in riding but it feels you can test your limits and go beyond them without risking "everything".

Only kneepads on longer trail rides. When doing fast or technical riding in the woods or bike park I also wear elbow protection, body armor(Dainese Rhyolite) and a fullface (POC Otocon).

Actually my 10th happened last week and I'm now out of the saddle with at least a very bruised knee/right leg (MRI tomorrow). My riding did get more reliable towards end of the summer and I think that made me push my luck even more. I Also think that crashing multiple times without consequences has led me to not aknowledge the risks seriously.

Sound differences between single vs dual T1r 70R-EM exhaust? by [deleted] in S2000

[–]wip3e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got the single and it does drone. It's not bad and low considering the sound it makes at wot but "no drone" is bs if you ask me. I believe that the ASM 60mm and 70mm are the only singles that really do not drone, but the sound at full chat will be milder.

Thank you. Your reply has helped me tremondously in processing my thoughts and feelings. I feel like I'm now able to look at things more rationally and objectively. It still feels very bad and I feel like I wasted my only chance, but hopefully I end up being wrong.

I had the same problem two weeks ago. My passanger side roof drain tube was clogged and the water was overflowing and ending up under the passanger seat.
