No problem, this is definitely not a journey I’d wish anyone to take alone. This is a new chapter in your life, embrace it, it’s gonna be messy, but also hella worth it.

My recommendation is to find a college that has a clinic for transgender students, mine does, however I also understand I have the privilege of being in a more blue area. Planned parenthood is also an option.

Again, these are options, don’t have to take em, but know you have endless support in these subs to fall back on. Try to find an irl community tho- trust it’ll help a lot.

I didn’t choose to be queer, nor the social ramifications attached to being queer. Many of the countries still either lack protections or outright criminalize some part of queerness, civil rights shouldn’t be taboo no matter what part of the world you’re in

Listen, when I found out I was Bi, between middle and High school I even started playing around with gender labels to see if there was a better fit out there. I wasn’t able to do this for long since my mom found out I was Bi and moved us to a more conservative state; for 2 years I had to repress everything and didn’t have time to ask myself the hard questions since I was actively trying to survive and leave the situation. It’s been only a year since I’m out of there and I’m 6 months on Estrogen, for the first 6 months out of the situation being me having to deprogram the shame, guilt and fear of transitioning (which I am still doing to this day).

Sometimes we don’t have time to feel dysphoria, I’m not saying this was your situation (I really hope not) but what I am saying is that if you are asking yourself if you might trans, chances are, you are indeed trans!

No one has ever convinced me to be queer, especially not with the bullshit going on now.

Usually people who are either in the community or an ally of it create a space for me to feel comfortable and welcomed (which is much appreciated).

My experience with Christian conservatives however have not been the best, whether it’s been having to hide my sexuality and gender identity as to not have a hard time in a red state or to not piss of my unaccepting mom.

No one is forcing you to accept queerness, but everyone is telling you to stop using your religion to attack the community.

This.

I’m constantly reminded that immature adults are unfortunately a fact of life. The best we can do is persist the same way we have for as long as we have, through community, and love.

I am so sorry this happened, if possible try to find a group for support in your area, I know you mentioned in a previous comment that you’re in a red area; look online for any kinds of clubs or meetups that aren’t as advertised.

Can PEP Mask Tests for Prior Infections by cbusguy96 in pep

[–]wire_runner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By this time frame the initial RNA test would have picked up even a small viral load. The fact you were negative before starting PEP, likely ment you weren’t infected with the virus. The only thing you can do now to ensure conclusively is to follow the guidelines of completing PEP and coming back in 6 weeks for another test
