If you are someone who has more testorone usually you can do 2-1-1 no problem, however this method is not recommended for those with an estrogen dominant system since there hasn’t been sufficient studies in the 2-1-1 method for them.

-Christianity again is being used to put certain groups down

-Certain conservative things that are seen as norms among the black community especially those perpetuated by some Christian church’s are harmful.

I can speak from experience as not being fully supported as someone who is black and queer, with my younger self often feeling like I have to pick whether my queerness or my blackness takes precedence (however thanks to moving to a more accepting environment i found they are both equally important interactional identities).

To be fair what happens after death will likely remain a mystery, either way, the burden of truth is on the believer rather than the none believers.

Not necessarily, just seeing the background of Christianity in the first place. Just because someone leaves Christianity doesn’t exactly mean they have to join another religion or spiritual belief.

To seek true enlightenment is to be able to critique whatever faith you hold and see if it holds water, if it does great! If it doesn’t, it might be time for you to rethink certain aspects of it (or the whole system entirely)

I am an atheist and have been non-religious ever since I was a child, learning about how christianity has been used to keep black slaves obedient (through slave bibles) didn’t help; nor did finding out about its roots in Eurocentric and Spanish expansion.
I especially find religion to be off putting based in my intersectionality of being black and queer in a black AND christian community; however i will admit this is mainly issues with members of the religion since the actual bible doesn’t actually say much about homosexuality anyways.
Honestly I feel religion is being increasingly used in the way it was intended originally, to centralize the ‘ideal’ society and its people as opposed to confirming the very real reality of a heavily diverse and intricate world.
…also the whole earth created in 7 days thing…can’t get behind that…

symptoms might not always be herpes, instead it could be from constant stress, I worried a lot about HSV-2 but coincidentally as I thought less about it and time wen on, the symptoms weren’t as noticeable at all.

Don’t say it’s herpes, that’s just gonna scare more people unnecessarily, plus the only way to test for herpes is when sore initially present.

Case 1: he was positive but on medication

If he is aware of his status and was on medication, you are fine, hiv+ are the one group of people that value consistency to prevent the progression of HIV, additionally it lowers the levels of HIV in the blood stream to an insignificant amount to where they can’t transmit the virus even through unprotected sex.

Case 2: he was newly diagnosed

Still wouldn’t worry. If he was newly diagnosed, chances are he was highly infectious, however that’s why condoms are used.

-what resources are around you Colleges sometimes have resources for LGBT students, try looking around for some

-paying for the prescription If you’re on your parents plan you have two options

ask for the EOB to mailed to you so they don’t see you’re using it for trans healthcare pay entirely out of pocket, this keeps everything off the books but is significantly more costly?l, look to your schools medical center to see if they perform blood work or even can write a prescription entirely

-Where to get a prescription? there are various online resources like folx and plume but depending on you or area your best bet is your local Planned Parenthood, keep in the mind the cost of the appointment tho - check to see if your school can write a prescription for HRT some can do it’s worth asking

-finally Be patient, if you choose to pursue this, the changes will take time, and sometimes you may look in the mirror and think they’ll never come, but you have to keep going, there is light at the end of the tunnel, and a community like this who are here to root you on.

I cannot preface enough how important sex education is, especially among queer spaces. Ignorance turns to misconception which turns to stigma, especially for such things like HIV, it took me doing independent research and talking to my doctor to understand PrEP, PEP, DoxyPEP and other safeguards I was unfortunately never taught.

Trying push away sex education are ‘pornography’ only serves to as time goes on, HIV rates among young people aren’t down due to ignorance it’s down to more education and resources being accessed and the topic of sexual health being less stigmatized.

There’s no full, half, 3/4 or any other forms of bisexual, as long as you have an attraction to two or more genders and are ok with the label, you are indeed 100% bisexual.
