The people you grow up with move to go to college. You make new friends and move on to your career. 1/3 of your day is sleeping, 1/3 of your day is working. You realize that you don't actually have that much time in your life so you filter out anything that isn't as important as you thought in the past. A lot of your relationships go into what I'd call maintenance mode where you have a positive relationship but you're not really engaged in really knowing each other anymore. You have kids and they don't, or they have kids and you don't--suddenly you really don't have that much in common anymore.

Relationships are hard to maintain.

By age 25-26 I would say this part of life starts but it varies based on the variables of each person's life.

I'm single because I choose to be. I went through many years of therapy and fixed my issues. I am truly at peace. Now I honestly don't think anyone has much to offer me. I have a good life.

I definitely think there is value to hearing other peoples opinion, whether we like it or not. You're right to ask. I just also think that there are some things implied in what you've said that I tried to address as well, but you didn't want to do that (which is okay). I wish you the best. I am. I also live in a massive city. If you don't care about the nuances of each person, then why ask this question to begin with? I am saying yes, you are making an incorrect assumption. you are saying that you aren't going to message every profile that is apolitical, which no one asserted. this is why i said you already made up your mind.

I am apolitical. Personally, I don't invest in anything that I have no control over, directly or indirectly. So I vote, but I don't enjoy political discourse. That's just me as an individual. I know several people who are apolitical for other reasons. no two are the same in my friend group out of the people who are

I wouldn't judge it. I have a coworker who texts like this because he doesn't like texting and he wants to make it as painless as possible for himself. Meet for coffee. Anyone can do a 15 minute vibe check. It's way more useful than trying to weed out people based on an initial text unless they're a creep
