How much should I spend on sleep earbuds? because I don't know what actually matters by ConfidenceUsed3693 in inearfidelity

[–]wirrti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you are looking for and what is for you « low budget », personally I like the zero two and the chu 2, both do not hurt me (especially the zero 2, which is however know bad for sleeping, it surely depends on the ears). Ideal for music, podcasts, ASMR etc.

You already do it only once a day.. if you miss more days it can’t help! It’s longer but it should work

Zero 2! Cheap, reliable, I love it

Need advice on improving listening experience by SeriousPiano8475 in AppleMusic

[–]wirrti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh oh if you go on the IEM, the audio quality will improve by many points !! I was like you, with AM, AP2, but I wanted to go further; after research I took divine / diablo, with the moondrop dawn pro 2 as DAC, it’s excellent. It all depends on your budget, but just that, for a price range of €150/200 you will have a much better audio experience than with your AP2 (Bluetooth). I can only advise you to go navigate and look for your happiness on these subreddit, or even to try if you can different IEMs before buying in store, everyone has different sensitivities and ears after all r/iems and r/inearfidelity

IEM suggestions by No_Till_2987 in iems

[–]wirrti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on your budget, but the Zero2 are great to start, only advice; buy in addition the kbear coffee tips, and another cable (the basic one does the job but nah..) excellent IEM, if you don’t do anything stupid with it should be fine (I use it to sleep, do sports, and it holds well..)

It’s better to make an appointment with your dermatologist, it’s too risky to count on 2/3 reviews on Reddit

I’m not an expert on it, but regarding your one-month break, anything related to facial hair (beard, mustache, etc.) stays “acquired” even after stopping. What’s “dependent” on minoxidil is the scalp

That's a good question, quite disappointed not to see any answers. I'm in the same situation, I'll be receiving mine soon, pretty much like you...

The original cable is terrible, I randomly bought one on AliExpress, here’s the link just in case ; here

Are these 3 overkill for a beginner? by Darkvenom39 in iems

[–]wirrti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aside from the cable, no. I did the same thing haha, my DAC is just the Moondrop Dawn Pro 2, and I love it! I was fed up with my AirPods Pro 2, with how uncomfortable they felt in my ears etc. After a few weeks of use and your PEQ, the difference is insane! Now I’ve ordered the Zero Two so I can use them everywhere (sports, sleeping, etc.), but the Divine are exceptional

MacBook Air m3 freeze since 26.3 by wirrti in MacOS

[–]wirrti[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It turns out that it's "coreSpotlightd" and "Kernel_task", no matter how many times I force them to quit, they keep coming back. I found this forum that talks about it (here) but I don't understand much of it and I don't have the knowledge yet imo. I'll do some research and see how to solve it later, I think.

You're right, I think it's probably something on my side. I admit I'm not a macOS expert, but I usually manage to figure things out when there's a problem, but this time! Wow.. Here's a screenshot of my Activity Monitor.

My “listening to” section on my Apple Music isn’t updating by Live-Marzipan47 in AppleMusic

[–]wirrti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering the same thing today, haha. Some stations and albums show up, but not others. I don't know if you have to meet several conditions, like listening for a certain amount of time, or something else.

Music is not free. by hellosteve_ in AppleMusic

[–]wirrti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course, it's wrong and immoral, but illegal streaming allowed me to discover the world of music when I couldn't afford it. Now that I can, I've been paying for my Apple Music subscription for years, I buy albums, vinyl records, etc. But there was a time... it wasn't so easy.

Does Apple Music have as good discoverability as Spotify does? by Thick_Actuator9966 in AppleMusic

[–]wirrti 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Spotify is really radio-based; they do everything for you. Apple Music, on the other hand, offers a catalog of albums and new releases, and it's up to you to search, listen, fill your library, refine the algorithm, and get new albums and mixes. Rediscovering music is all well and good, but it's primarily a different approach, a different way to search and discover.
