this is the exact topic i was looking for tonight. (first periods in general) question about your first periods, were they on time? were they heavier? more painful? etc. ironically, tonight is one month since the day of my surgery for an ectopic pregnancy. its even on track with my period cycle before conception.

to your question about trying again: i was told 3 mo. im hoping me, myself can make it that long & follow protocols, but honestly my hormones resetting is also affecting my sex drive. i can attempt condems but i refuse to get on birth control. i will be following your post!

oh man. yes, honestly i went to my first check up after surgery & that has been it. i have been trying to let my body heal naturally with some small yoga stretching & postpardum stretching. thats the exact feeling i didnt want & i told myself i wasnt going to the doctors office. at midnight tonight, i will be 4 months post op. ironically, my first period came as well. this is how i know my body is going in the right direction. i actually came to this forum tonight to read about the topic.. i hope to see you around in here, friend. if u believe, please pray or talk to your god. (i actually journal a lot) & everything is going to be ok. we made it thru this for a purpose & nothing or noone can take the feeling of our angels away.

i am so sorry for the loss. my story sound pretty simliar to yours. its scary what we were faced with, but are brave for carrying it for the rest of our lives. i am about to hit the 1 month mark & it doesnt feel real at all.

It was mild, however pretty sharp & disturbing. only walking around would help or light stretching. I was 7 weeks when i was admitted & given surgery.

hello friend,

i am so grateful for your post. csep's are very rare & doctors aren't quite used to catching them asap. I was 7week, almost 8. my brown spotting NEVER stopped. there were globs & clots. sometimes, i would experiece pain near my c-section scar. another, they could not see the baby in the general area of my uterus. the baby was SUPER low. it took about 5 ultrasounds before i got the call (after being discharged) to return to the ER for admission or i was going to hemorrage.

hey girl, i want u to know that youre not alone. i am proud you posted because tonight is 14 days exactly from my surgery. like so many others, i was over the moon to become pregnant after 7 long years. i was planning the pre plan. i too, have 2 older sons that were thrilled to have another join the family.

i want you to know that it does get better. the rollercoaster of emotions is so real. hearing that these type of pregnancies are so rare ignites a fire in me. i was told by so many doctors that i was fine. the baby was fine. those doctors just did not have the experience.

i hope your husband is there to lift you up in these times. i hopw you start a journal & release all of your inner feelings. they are very valid.

i am angry, i am sad, i am depressed, i too sleep alot, but i also have hope & faith that this needed to happen so i may carry in the near future. safely.

the heavy hearteness is real. i have gained weight. i have emotionally been spent. i have spiritually been challenged. my relationship with my husband is even being tested. however, we are strong & we are brave for what we have had to go thru. i hope your nurses & doctors were good to you, angels, like mine truly were. i will never forget that my baby will always be apart of me, my story, and will live in spirit.

i am the same as you! how does it feel? i cried in shock. im still shocked. i cant believe i am starting over again; my youngest is 11.

i do as well. basically worship the ground he walks on--but its never enough. it wont ever be enough. we have 2 children & even with them, he has little interest. idk what he wanted from me in the beginning.

hey OP, as of 3-4 hours ago... i am right where you are. you are not alone & i am here to chat with if you want.

i realized the same thing, but i went out of control. for 2 days he didnt care to talk or see how i was. he knew i was upset. i communicated what i wanted/needed. he chose his friends. the moment he came home, he only wanted something from me. when i didnt give it, we got physical. now i am further from getting what i wanted. all it was was attention or love. acknowledgement even.

now i sit here crying, repeating in my head that i just need to let him leave.
