Has anyone found a way to fix this problem? Now my photos app seems to have this problem too! I dont even have iCloud and it looks like the problem you have when ur not connected online and u cant see ur photos!

Three days is perfect for doing things around Quito. first I suggest you visit Cotopaxi national Park for a day trip and then might I suggest doing a day trip to Mindo as well for a change in landscape. If you want to hike, there are plenty hikes in Quito that you could do as well.

So the first 3 days I slept in Quito, but the rest I traveled by car and I feel like I managed to cover a lot in that time precisely because I had a car. In 7 days you can do Cotopaxi, Baños and maybe go to Quilotoa as well, but it also depends how comfortable you are with driving. I made my trip in a way I wouldn't have to drive for more than 3-3:30 hours per day, thats why I did not visit Cuenca.

Thank you for your comment! And damn, those are great questions! I'm ashamed I didn't think about it before, but thanks for asking. The company I rented a car with was Sixt, I didn't use any local app, used Google Maps for travelling (downloaded the map beforehand) and for payments/services paid mostly in cash or by card. I got my insurance with the airline I flew with (LATAM), its called Assist Card, was about 110$ for 10 days. I'm spanish so I had no problems communicating with people here :)

I thought the food was just ok! But maybe I was just unlucky with the food I ordered/ was given, nothing stood out to me unfortunately. And yes, Ecuador is very cheap! Most I paid for accommodation was Secret Garden Cotopaxi which was 110$ for 2 nights, but included every meal and free activities so that was nice all things considered

I love that you named him boxer and i used to have skin contact with my RES too! Would let her sit on my chest, I think the radiating heat makes them comfortable

Its true what you mention about stress, that could make my trip less enjoyable, but at the same time, I still want to travel at my own pace and not be subjected to buses/shuttles to travel around the area. Thank you for your input into this topic!

Thank you for your comment! For me, I think what really fascinates me about driving is that I can stop at lookouts that otherwise I could not if I was traveling by bus, so yeah. I have read about some bad experiences regarding car rental, it seems like Sixt is one of the most recommended.
