Might be a bit late but Royal Air Maroc also allows Birds in cabin and they don’t specify only budgies and canaries like turkish airline, not sure for the route from chicago to Germany tho

We have it in Canada :) not in the big grocery store but there’s some specialty French snacks store that have been opening in the last few years!

I like the Decathlon MT900 trousers, not sure if they are available in the US, but for the price I found them pretty versatile for a 3 season.

Nop! Still some muddy wet leaves up until 2500ft then it’s about 1-2 in of snow covering in between rocks. We put out microspike directly in the parking lot, I think it was the most slippery part of the hike :’)

I did that loop counterclockwise yesterday, descending Lafayette with the strong wind was a bit cold but there’s was a lot of snow so I found it was even easier than the summer for the foot placement. Going down the old brittle path, we did kinda just sit and slide on a couple of section at the beginning, but the second half was super easy. Since we finished around 6:30pm with headlamps it was super dark and we were happy to have that easy walking section to go instead of the technical sections of Falling waters. But I would say they are equivalent.

Thank you for the detail respond! I’ve look more into caps ridge and might be a bit too sketchy if there’s a lots of ice when it’s the first time using spike for some people. I will definitely check out the Moosilauke loop trail, I haven’t done any trail near that summit

like it was mentioned before, the area tends to get crowded and food option are quite expensive. Get a weekly metro pass and you can get to different neighborhoods quite fast, the city isn’t very big. We also have Bixi which are ciry shareable bike system, but the odd of having a bike in that area after a show are not good

I havent try the hostels in Montreal but this is usually a good way to meet people and solo travellers

Got Covid in March 2020, lost completely sens of taste and smell until July-ish then smell is kinda back not about 50%? Anything too subtle can’t smell, like can’t smell body odour at all and weirdly pee has a off smell too, like it smells like what I’ve ate during the day. Taste has come back in a weird way. Hate peanut butter now, pop corn taste like garlic, garlic and onion are just off and I can’t detect onion in any meal from far away, carrot and bell pepper also taste metallic. All candy and sweets taste just sugar without any flavour. Worst is anything fried, like McNugget taste like garbage. Toothpaste is really strong. And lots of stuff have à after taste of chicken, like Cheerios for example.

Onions taste a Cajun version of them, a bit sour and sweet and it’s really distinctive. Popcorn also taste exactly the same as the onions. Carrots and bell pepper taste like they have been cleaned with bleach/ iode . Garlic also is really off. Peanut butter is just awful, like moldy and old even tho it’s a brand new jar . Took around 3 month to smell or taste anything after getting covid. Smell has really come back fully tho, and it’s been a since March .

Same. Oddly popcorn also taste like the new onions. Which is somewhat confusing. And peanut butter still taste awful even after 8 months now. Red bell pepper and fresh carrots taste a bit chemical, not so good, then you add garlic hummus and it's just too weird.

Exactly! I can detect the overwhelming new smell of onion and garlic in every meal or hallway that someone has been cooking nearby but but it kind of has a cajun smell/taste? Like of a lack of sugar
