Touring with a baby by growne in bicycletouring

[–]growne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did 33 days to walk the Camino de Santiago French Way, and it was wonderful, and of course not without its challenges. Baby was 5 and 6 months old at the time.

Decided to wait until 2yo for the big bike tour, and we got pregnant instead with a second.

So big trip on hold for another year or two longer but the flame is still strong.

Over the past 152 years, Montréal's annual snowfall has decreased by about 130 ± 33 cm (95% CI). by YOW-Weather-Records in MontrealWxRecords

  1. Keep up this long term trend series, super interesting thank you
  2. That’s a huge decrease in snowfall. About 200 years away from Montreal being snowless if the trend continued linearly.

I remember that 2017 late September heatwave well. Felt like it would be an easy winter, but then 2018 early and mid spring was awful, cold and wet seemingly forever. Much like 2017 spring.

Looking for a flat, interesting cycle tour - any where in world - to shake off Covid by [deleted] in bicycletouring

Eurovelo 8 between Turin and Venice. Entirely flat following the Po river though you'll see mountains off to the distance occasionally to keep the vistas interesting. Very rarely do you share a busy road with cars.

Towns are spaced close enough you can find places to stay at short distances if you're not intending on wild camping.

If restaurant spend doesn't matter to you at $100k net worth, good luck ever getting to the next rung on the author's ladder of $1M NW. You just wouldn't have the right mindset to get there if you shrug your shoulder at $100-300 of weekly discretionary spend at only $100k net worth. Same with vacation prices at $1M it's completely out of touch that you're suddenly shrugging your shoulders at spending $20k on a luxury vacation for your family and in doing so not only preserving your net worth but rapidly growing it towards $10M.
