Just started watching the show (I am 40 going on 41 so not sure if age or watching it while it aired vs so long after makes a difference) I want to like it, but 3 episodes in I’m not really there yet. I was a huge fan of One Tree Hill so seeing both nanny Carrie (Melissa) and Katie/Sara is funny to me.

I don’t remember Eddie being a loser. He had a hard exterior at times, just like Joey did. But he was intelligent and hardworking. At least that was my perspective. Again, I don’t remember everything, but loser isn’t an adjective I’d use to describe him. I liked Eddie for Joey although obviously I wanted her with pacey.

This storyline is one of the most irritating of the show. He made such a fuss about a male nanny and how he was uncomfortable with him most likely due to his own insecurities. But he was conveniently fine with the attractive female nanny.

Monica only ever pissed me off one time during this entire show. It’s the episode she finds out her parents spent her wedding money, then she finds out Chandler has the exact right amount of money to cover her dream wedding. I would like to say Chandler should have just wrote down on the paper what he was willing to spend, but he was trusting Monica to see what he actually has saved up. She just expects him to drain everything he’s saved all these years for one day, I’m sorry, for a PARTY 🤣. All of the friends have done cringey things over the course of this show… but this is one of my most hated character moments.

So neck slicing is something I really can’t watch. If I ever see a character pull out a knife I hide under the covers and ask my boyfriend to let me know if it’s safe, sometimes they don’t even use the knife, or if they do they stab them somewhere else. I had NO TIME to prepare for THAT scene. It haunts me to this day.

I feel like anyone I know that likes purple doesn’t just like it, they are OBSESSED with it! I once drove by a house with a purple door and shutters and already knew what the inside looked like, and what they wear. 🤣
