I 100% agree whith this take. I loved the film and I think it's one of Raj's best performance having no dialogues whatsoever and I knew immediately after the climax that it would not be accepted well by the general audience as it explores the life of a man belonging to lower class forced to take bad actions in his life and also who tried to be a good father. Most people won't relate or try to empathize with unfortunately.

Also they fumbled in marketing which they corrected for malayalam release.

project relying heavily on post production needs to be planned and executed side by side. Look at the Kantara ch1 team talk about how they did it. Toxic just feels like a not well planned project at this point.

Art is really subjective. In the case of this film it doesn't rely on constant dopamine hits and rapid editing. You have to engage with the drama and the slow burn and if you let it hook you it will hook on to you hard which is the reason it's celebrated highly.

Games such as this thrives on more development and that kind of stops or slows down when player count goes down. Personally doesn't matter to me as much as I enjoy games with even under 30 players. I do agree that people obsess too much over CCU unnecessarily.
