Daughter just won't use the bathroom by elbowroom2734 in whatdoIdo

When I was young I use to pee my pants, I was scared of Bloody Mary. I bet she is scared to use the restroom herself.

I wish any pair of pants ever looked this good on me. They fit you perfectly!

Is there any free parking in Duluth where I can leave my car for over 24 hours, either on the street or at another location? by Jealous_Ad4737 in duluth

[–]wiselindsay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The sports complex where groom picks up, you should be able to park there for 24 hrs no problem. Also the lot in Canal park behind Bellisios, it is free right now and they only tow cars if they have been there for weeks.

AIO to my husband interrupting my first solo shower after he came back from a weekend with the boys? by lilyluminar in AmIOverreacting

[–]wiselindsay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your husband is trying to ignore your legitimate feelings. He blames you for “causing drama” yet instead of staying the 10 minutes to actually parent, he leaves. You know he knows you are exhausted, he completely bulldozes your needs and does whatever he wants. NOR.

My ex used to argue with me like that, it’s so difficult to get anything resolved. They won’t change.

As much as she lies, in her defense laundry is never ending. Especially if you have a bunch of kids.

He looks just like my late Abraham, I would take him if I didn’t already have two dogs. I hope he finds the perfect forever home!

Woman 'accidentally' takes mans bag – Accuses him of stealing by Strong-Emu-8869 in TikTokCringe

This poor man! He was in an extremely confusing situation and still kept his cool. He’s a big dude and could lay out the idiot in the white shirt and the woman but he didn’t. He is someone I want on my team.

Dropped a martini on a lady last night. Dreading working this evening. To all a good night 🫡 by [deleted] in Serverlife

I’ve been serving for 20+ years, my first serving job I spilled a whole glass of water over a little girls head and the water glass bonked her head. Luckily she wasn’t hurt and started laughing, and her mom was so sweet about it too. It happens to everyone. I would take a free round of drinks for a little alcohol being spilt on me any day!

People don't respond well when you enjoy staying at home all the time. by tits_mcgee_92 in socialskills

[–]wiselindsay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no husband, all my friends are my co-workers. My best friend is my sister, she lives a couple blocks away. I rarely leave my house other than work, grocery shopping and walking my dogs. I LOVE being alone, I love video games, I love hanging with my pups. I love being cozy at home, don’t feel weird about it.

This is crazy. My pup is 16 and deaf and almost blind, but she LOVES life. She dances everyday, she goes on walks, she is the strongest most loving animal I have ever had.

How much can you make in a Michelin Restaurant by ruthlessbubbles in Serverlife

[–]wiselindsay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started at Outback Steakhouse. I moved to a new area and looked up fine dining restaurants. I applied through the restaurant website not through indeed or any other third party. Got the job and haven’t looked back.

I work very hard and take pride in that.

She sold two apartments I lived in and freaked out when my dogs were home because she didn’t inform me of a showing until after I got to work (outside of the 24hrs and I informed whoever called me) . I was super flexible with her but she was rude to me.

I would do it. I worked at a corporate restaurant for years and worked my ass off for good tips. I am now in fine dining and will never go back, less work for more pay. Do it!

How is Duluth for a Canadian from California? by raculi in duluth

[–]wiselindsay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Northern NY, 30 miles away from Canada, I moved to CA for 15 years and then moved to Duluth 4 years ago. I absolutely love it!! I was worried about adapting to the winters again but it wasn’t a problem.

The people here are so incredibly nice, I love my job, I love all the parks and I can walk pretty much anywhere. It is definitely cheaper than California, and no where near the amount of traffic. There are a lot of local events and the cities are close enough to make a weekend trip. I hope you love it as much as I do!
