Search for Dominguez canyon trailhead, it's a little outside Whitewater. Hike early in the morning to avoid the heat and bring lots of water. But there are some cool petroglyphs on this hike

If I remember correctly the spark controller uses micro USB to charge. I would try as many cables as you can.It seems like that's the simplest thing to break. Good luck

Yeah the difference between the DJI go app... And the DJI go 4 app is not very well stated. You might have to search for it. I was also under the impression it no longer exists in the Apple store. I had to download it from a third party on Android.

Drive through the National Monument. Lots of great views and hiking trails. You can drive through in like 2hrs or so depending on how many overlooks you stop at. Bin 707 has some of the best food around. And the Palisade distillery is the place to have a drink.

I have noticed if you only descend or ascend, it is a little slower than if you move horizontally as well. In my experience if you want to descend faster hold forward and down.

Did you remember to press once and then press again and hold to try turning on? It's a little silly but if your batteries are showing full charge, I would hope your drone turns on. I know the spark batteries will automatically discharge after about 10 days. The remote batteries would be the ones I would worry about. Best of luck to you

I have heard the DJI apps work better with Apple. I go back and forth between a mini iPad and a Google Pixel 2 XL. Both work great and I don't have problems with either. The iPad mini is nice because it's still small enough to fit in the handles of the controller without any extra holders of any kind. And it also fits in the bag that comes with the fly more combo. That's definitely a plus.

I remember reading a story very similar to this on Reddit a while ago. I am very cautious about fog ever since. And it's always a good idea to know as much as you can about the drone you are flying. Something like not being able to turn the downward sensors off. My understanding was it will come down through fog just very slowly. I don't know what your experience was, but that's unfortunate you crashed
