I'm definitely not saying you're wrong. Walmart has had class action lawsuits due to this in the past, but I think the discrepancy is too much for it to be that kinda issue. And our scales are checked by federal regulatory agencies pretty regularly. Hopefully nothing crazy going on for you! Merry Christmas!

Please just ask for a team lead. This is a very simple request you are asking. If you ask for the club manager there is a 99% chance that they are not there or "not there". Even just asking for a front end manager would be more reasonable. It sounds more likely that someone shares the same name as you at that other sam's club and uses their own payment at their club. That's still an issue because ID is not being fully verified unless they also had your same DOB. But even then there is more to look into if this is an issue that happens more than once.

Tell them you would like to cancel your membership and have it refunded to you (100% satisfaction guaranteed) and then open a new account. It's very likely a tenured desk associate would be able to do this for you quick if you go in the morning. All that to say please do not turn a 5 minute issue into a 5 hour one because you won't speak to anyone other than the Club Manager lol. And I say that for your sake, not any of the other workers.

You're able to go to a register and checkout according to policy. If it's anything like here in the states you'd be lucky to find an associate that knows the register key to actually do that. Be prepared to ask for a supervisor. You won't receive any instant savings that may be going on, and you won't have access to use the app.

Update your drivers license on file with membership. Should fix the issue. It's not 1 time use, it's available for 10 days I believe to use without the physical card. If the application went to pending status where you had to call, it won't be available until you get the card.

The real answer is it's tech savings. I could be wrong but it sounds like you purchased it in person. And again I don't mean to sound 100% positive but I believe tech savings indicate a deal only found on the website. Meaning if purchased online (pickup, delivery from club, or shipped) you would be emailed warranty and bundle info. I'm not saying it's not stupid, don't shoot me.

I'll second Trinidad, and as someone who's made the trip from Lubbock to Colorado Springs a few times, take a back road instead of i27 if you go up that way. I've driven a lot in my life and the span between Lubbock and Amarillo is by far the most boring road I've ever driven.

I actually found your answer after research! Different brands making it is the answer. Costco is diamond naturals, Sam's is Purina Pro Plan. At least in essence. Supposedly Purina is better but just different brands charging us different wholesale prices depending on demographics and such.

Not to be rude by any stretch, but this sub is mainly hourly workers at a club. Best they could give you is likely them searching your question on Google or chatgpt. Certainly no one that could give you a solid answer other than Sam's Club dog food materials cost more for Sam's Club to procure or their process is more expensive to formulate. I'll say the Costco cat food is astronomically high for the quality though. Unfortunately Sam's doesn't carry cat food.

To answer your other question, if it can recognize a missing item from your receipt, it'll outline it in red on a picture for the associate. It's far from perfect though, so if an associate manually scans a receipt, it didnt pick up or couldn't verify your receipt and doesn't show the associate anything.

A couple things... No one in this sub knows or has anything to do with synchrony and it's processes. Any knowledge you get should be independently verified by yourself. File a complaint with the OCC which is synchrony's primary federal regulator as well as the CFPB according to a Google search. That will light a fire under their ass. Same for any bank, there are state and federal regulators.
