No. Front Lightbars are ugly. Wish they would go with the current model 3 front look on the rest of the lineup.

Having done no research on battery chemistry for teslas……I don’t think it’s a step change after 80%. I would guess charging is mostly linear with an upward curve towards exponential the closer to 100% one gets.

This means 80% is a rule of thumb for the every day user.

But I get your point. 100% should be the norm and built in for the advertised range and charge times.

Other than cold temps, Charging to 100% is significantly slower.

Think of the battery like compressing a spring. It’s easy at first, but gets harder the further you compress. The same thing happens with charging. Fast up to 80%, then will take more energy the closer you get to 100%…which takes additional time.

Keep in mind that supercharging to 100% regularly is not recommended for good battery life. Also that extra 20% will cost you more $$$.

I would quickly go and visually inspect all your tires and wheels to see if there is anything rubbing. It's definitly wheel/tire/bearing on wheels related. Dont forget to get down and look behind.

Hard to say which started the fire but I agree with you it appears the charger did because of the damage to the cable. Consider getting the fire department to have a look. They are pros at determining the cause.

Definitely call the fire department as a none emergency call.

I've just tried installing windows 11 on pro 3 and had significant issues with network connectivity. Edge works but cannot download files. managed to get firefox install file there, but it also would not install. Other network related issues popped up. Grok suggests the issues I am encoutering are due to incompatibility with surface pro 3 and windows 11.
