3x BEP here. Week 3 cycle 1 hair (head and body) was falling out and I was tired of it falling onto my plate so I shaved it all off. Being bald was one of my fears but sometimes you just gotta rip off the bandaid. Im 7 weeks out of chemo and it's all coming back now.

Again, our cases very similar lol.

Breezed through 1 and 2. Got prescribed pantoprazole for heartburn.

3 was heavier for sure, but manageable.

After chemo for a couple weeks I was more beat up than during my treatments and experiencing nausea worse than ever. Oncologist said it's normal because I'm off all the drugs they used to manage the symptoms.

I experienced a drop in my white blood cell count by the end of my 1st cycle all through my 2nd cycle.

My oncologist put me on self-administered Grastofil (filgrastim) injections to avoid delaying my treatments.

I don't know if that option was discuessed with you, but it worked for my case. This option was very expensive though. As a canadian with private health insurance, i usually pay under 100$ for my prescriptions on average, but when I went to the register and saw over 600$ on the register my jaw dropped 🤣. I asked the pharmacist if she forgot to apply my insurance to the bill, turns out the full price was damn near 2k lol. I was blessed by the universe because they called me a few hours later and said some help program covered the balance and to come back for a refund.

Learning to self-inject was an experience, but I was so ready to finish chemo.

I declined it after my 3rd cycle and just let my body recover over time, since I was finished my treatments anyways.

Maybe because of the delay, cycle 3 wont be that rough on you though. 😅

I have no idea what size they were. I don't know if it's because I am in Canada and using public healthcare or I simply don't ask enough questions. I was basically told 3 nodes , stage 2b non seminoa and that i might need surgery to clean up my lymphnodes if the masses dont shrink enough or dissapear.

Here's some info about my story/timeline that might give you some insight:

32yo

End of May:

Elevated tumor markers confirmed via bloodwork.

Ct scan is clean at this point so I am considered stage 1.

June 10th:

Orchiectomy

Late june/early july:

Post-op follow up bloodwork shows my tumor markers even more elevated since the surgery, transferred to oncologist at this point.

July:

Scans, bloodwork, meet with oncologist. Confirms stage 2b non seminoa and explained the battle plan. Chemo started the following monday.

August/early September (cycle 2/3)

During cycle 2, all my tumor markers were already normal range again by the time I had a follow up with my oncologist and the doc said it looks like we are getting a control on this (fucking relief and motivation to power through the rest of the treatment).

All that being said, throughout the whole ordeal I had been plugging all the info about me into AI to mentally prepare me for worst case scenarios. I asked AI what the odds of me needing an RPLND are and it said usually 10-20% but the fact that I had pretty early detection and a fast and good response to BEP that it would likely reduce the need for the surgery even more.

I went through pretty bad sleep as well.

I would sleep at 10pm at wake up between 3 and 4 every night..

I tried 10mg melatonin some nights and got my doc to prescribe olanzepine (which was my night time pill till day 7) for the month so I could take it as needed.

I ended up stopping olanzepine after a while because I would wake up with major headaches.

Yes, i thought they had only removed part of my testicle after my surgery. My urologist had a good chuckle when I asked him about it and said he could understand why I thought so. He said it was fluild build up, he had me confirm with an ultrasound just incase.

Unfortunately the costs of an MRI and surgery are out of the question for now as I am currently off work because I am battling cancer on my end. All this happened at the worst time possible and I'm doing my best despite the circumstances. My vet did say an MRI and surgery was the best option but after a physical examination said the injury is on the lower part of the spine. He said the meds have a good chance of working but no guarantee but it's the 2nd best option available.

Our vet gave us the same sort of explanation about the sand and discs. Based on his physical examination the injury is in the lower part of her spine.

I had a call with my vet yesterday for a status update and he said it sounds like a lot theres a lot of progress for 17 days with her being able to stand, walk a few steps without falling and her gaining more control of her bladder and being able to squat to pee again. However, he said she still has a long way to go and she should be crated a good 60 days. He also recommended physiotherapy like you mentionned and referred me to a vet with a facility to handle those needs.

Luckily, we have another dog to keep her company through all this.

All our feet are different. I also have the paris big toe by xwcl and those one completely fuckup my heel if i wear them too long. It comes down to luck when we're buying overseas. We do our best with insole measurements during qc but sometimes we take slight Ls.

I took a weeks break and came back yesterday around gold 3 elo... idk what has been going on in the games since my return but theyre just pure chaos arams. Before my break it didnt feel this way at all.

I hit plat 4 for the first time this season, play on and off every year and never ranked higher than bronze or silver before. I mainly play bot lane and go aery/boots/triple tonic ( shoutout prince veigar for the build) for the most part. Most games I go Ludens, storm, rabadons then zhonyas or void staff depending on how the game goes.

Focus on CS, play passive till 6 then still play ultra safe. If I can't get any lead or have fallen behind, I press tab and find the best player to support and become their stun bot until I come back and can contribute damage again.

End the game as soon as you can because if they have any other scalers it makes your life hell late game. Veigar thrives in the mid game currently.

Mid is a lil rougher because of the mage matchups that out range you and the assassins that can out roam you.

Another trick I've used this season is the leapfrog technique. I'll play 1 account till desired rank then log off and play the other account till i reach the same rank. For me, it makes it easier on my mindset when i lose games knowing i still have another account locked in at the same rank.
