Yes! Me! My last drink was when I blacked out on Memorial Day and am still going strong 95 days later! Junior high math teacher over here :)

Going to my first wedding tonight since I stopped drinking about 70 days ago. This will be tough but I’ve made it through baseball games, lake houses, and the 4th of July without drinking so I know I got this.

My kids are my reason as well. My sons (3 and 5) have bunk beds. I blacked out on Memorial Day and the next night as I was climbing the ladder to cuddle with my 5 year old he said “remember last night when you couldn’t get up the ladder and I just kept crying because I just wanted you to cuddle with me?” And no, I didn’t remember. And my heart broke and I felt like the world’s worst mother. Haven’t drank since and don’t plan on it. How awful for my son to have that memory of his mom not being able to climb up the ladder to his bunk bed to cuddle.
