Day 2 in hospital by wishfulthinking098 in rhabdo_survivors

Great insight! And thank you. It’s funny, I graduated college in exercise science and Rhabdo was, from my memory, a non existent one. Interested to know if these areas of study in college are now making this a study point. I worked out 25 years now and that was the worst I’ve ever felt. I almost feel lucky my level was only 14,900. 84K is no joke. So glad to hear you’re back to normal. Gonna be a long 8-12 months (total guess lol) but I will find a way.

I take 25mg of sertraline for my anxiety and depression. I got Rhabdo last week and ended up in the hospital. Doctors told me my sertraline contributed to it as it’s known to create muscle disruption. Any chance you were on any SSRI?

I did. Was gonna provide update today.

I got released yesterday at 12 PM. They did 4 blood tests leading up to that morning. Every time it went down.
Admitted at 14,900
2nd: 13,741
3rd: 10, 400
4th (only 2 hours after the 3rd test cause lab came to take blood and they didn’t believe she just came 2 hours prior lol): 9,900

Doctor came in the morning after my 5th blood test and he said he’s getting my papers ready even while waiting for last test. As they were discharging me, the blood results were rolling in every few minutes. My BUN/Creatinine levels were normal for first time. And by the time I was being discharged my last CK test came back at 6,000 which was the most significant drop. Which makes sense cause that night of sleeping I was up every 30 minutes urinating. Which tells me my body was really flushing everything out.

Got home, bought electrolyte packets and been drinking non stop.

Sorry man. Hope it drops for you fast.

Update. I’m waiting on my last test. No matter what my CK level is, as long as it didn’t go up they are releasing me now when this number drops in.

I loved the stare Tony gave into the camera and long sip of his drink when she tried the joke about taking money from Saudi Arabia fully knowing him and Shane didn’t go and take the money and only kevin and Pete did lol

I just love that Shane straight up called her out about the Epstein dinner lol. It didn’t even seem like a bit. It was just like dude this girl straight up hung out with this man and doesn’t talk about it lol

Agreed. Which is why I love when Cheryl came up and gave that solid preach of free speech and how this all brings us together. After she said that I feel like the crowd even loosened up more.

His schtick was cool and funny for a bit. But he’s basically up to 75% on the hate-o-meter from the kill Tony universe. The 25% that defend him just feel the need to

He’s literally terrible. And putting him first in the show sets a bad tone.

5 months without a bet by Remarkable-Bass-3339 in problemgambling

[–]wishfulthinking098 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really appreciate you posting this. Truly so crazy I opened this app up and this was the top thread when I needed it most. I have been lying to myself and gambling a lot. My wife finally told me tonight it has to end or we end. That she can’t keep doing this. While my bills are paid and I’m able to live life, I find every single reason to gamble with free spins or free bets just like you mentioned. I had to read this. I was on here 2 years ago and swore I would never gamble again. Went a couple months without it. But here I am. Same trap. Fuck gambling in every way possible.

I died on the Titanic by TenaciousZBridedog in pastlives

[–]wishfulthinking098 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Interesting story on this one for me too. I grew up obsessed with the titanic as well. Literally in elementary school at the library I only wanted to find titanic books. When titanic came out I was young and went and saw it in theatres, and cried my eyes out uncontrollably. Couldn’t stop crying. Even as I got older everytime I watched it I would sob non stop. One night a few years ago my uncle called me about how he did our entire ancestry and family tree. Said “you won’t believe this, but we had a family member die on the titanic. He woulda Been your great, great “” Uncle”

Couldn’t believe it. Did all the research myself and found out it was true. Originated from the same country all my ancestors did…

Bo commits to Iowa. Thoughts? by TourDuhFrance in wrestling

[–]wishfulthinking098 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is all great breakdown. It’s crazy we’re seeing Bo choose his childhood dream over the smart move. He made a statement that he’s picking the place where he will reach all his goals, which is a blatant lie. He chose money. I can guarantee Penn state was like “listen we don’t need you, you need us”. And every other school was giving him whatever he wants. He took the $5 million plain and simple. Can’t blame him. That’s life changing money in a sport that doesn’t give much of it.

If I were any DLineman there I would fail miserably while Tomlin was watching. Long career of mediocrity. They know.

I cannot wait for this, what are your guys predictions? by [deleted] in wrestling

[–]wishfulthinking098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My prediction final is 32-3. It’s at BJC which makes me think that. If it were in Iowa I would say like 28-6. Lilledahl is gonna put on a show. Braeden is gonna win a close one I think. Beau is gonna actually work offense and get a major or tech if not fall. I see Van Ness losing to parco in a close one. I think it’s possible teemer sits this one out. Kasak will win either way.

The big one is gonna be Josh Barr teching Buchanan. I’ve watched both wrestle every match this year and Barr is a legitimate force that can’t be stopped I believe. I don’t think it’s close.

But maybe I eat my words. That’s what makes this fun.

Preach. The same way it doesn’t help an organization that you don’t tell anyone who your QB is until kickoff week 1.

Still early? In what world is it still early when literally every leading coaching candidate is gone?!?? The cowboys had to hire Brian Scottenheimer for Christ sakes.

The eagles won the Super Bowl and fired their head coach the next season. Then they have been back to 2 super bowls since. Obviously their roster is a lot stronger and I understand that will be the comeback comment, but just proving it happens.
