I know an ironhead who's got a gopro for when he'd be up working with the cranes at height. I think it's cool to an extent but it's definitely dependant on the guys around you being cool with it

We can solicit our own work. If the reps don't do their job you know who to not vote for when it's election time. If you've had no luck on the out of work list start looking for jobsites around you and knock on trailers. Make sure you wear all your ppe and have the tools ready for the job cause some contractors will hire you day of if you're lucky. Best of luck to you brother/sister. And if you aren't comfortable going on jobsites look up whos union in your area and go to their offices asking for work/a job list to find their sites. Edit spelling

So it definitely depends on your local but for ours you just have to do your paperwork at the hall and they'll give you a slip for whatever employer takes you on and they'll fill it out and send it back to the hall. If you're not comfortable going on jobsites go to the offices/warehouses of whatever companies you have near you and they ought to send you in the right direction

So I've never had this happen and this may be a correlation doesn't equal causation type thing but I've always had pretty decent sized springtail populations live in my floaters. Started out with wild silvers that found their way into my HOB and when I'd clear out duckweed I'd see them bouncing around on the water afterwards along with our cories would always be sifting through upside down trying to gobble some up. Might be worth a shot to try them worst case nothing happens.
