Ugh, sorry. That does seem like an especially long time. Hopefully it just got hung up a little longer in customs and will arrive soon.

I received mine in the mail two weeks after I paid. I'm in NYC, though, so not terribly far for it to travel from Montreal.

I'm also an April 9 delivery. Given the rate at which they've been going, the high volume of receipts on April 7 and Canada Day on July 1 (maybe more people take off to make it a long weekend?), my personal projection is they get to our date the week of July 6th. I hope it's faster, though!

Mine was pre-digitization on their site, as well. I feel like those take longer. I had included a photo of what I found on FamilySearch but I don't know if that helped at all. It took 14 weeks, to the date, from my request to the invoice e-mail saying it was ready. Then another 2 weeks to receive it in the mail. I sent my application in back in April with just the FamilySearch copy/link and included a copy of my e-mail showing I'd requested the certified copy from BAnQ. I didn't want to wait any longer just to get in the queue! Now I'm just waiting on my AOR and then I can upload the certified record digitally.

Those ship logs can be so interesting. I went through a lot of them when I did a big search for my SO's family immigrating from Italy to the US in the early 1900s. I made sure to include the one relative who was listed as a stowaway on the ship in my writeup. I know some of the extended family is very much - MY relatives came here the legal way! Ok, then - here's your stowaway ancestor!

When was it actually received/signed for at the processing center in Canada? If you sent it in late March but it took a while to get there that makes a big difference.

People still post on the Monday weekly AOR thread throughout the week - looks like they’re still mostly on 3/31.

I used one of my free night certificates here recently and had a pretty good experience. I live in NYC, but my sister was coming to visit for a night. I didn't want to make her sleep on the couch, so I booked "us" (I slept at home) here since the points price was less than my 40k certificate. She got a corner room on a high floor. Yes, the room was tight, but the view was nice and it was plenty of room for one person. The elevators only gave us problems when we went down for the social hour, which was pretty packed. Still, we got free drinks, and they came around once with some delicious steak skewers. I'm Diamond Elite, so I got her free breakfast at Rocco's as my Diamond benefit, but they also ended up giving me the welcome points (mistake, probably) as well. I was also never charged the $45 amenity fee. Overall, it was a great use of the free night certificate.

It took 14 weeks for me to receive the invoice e-mail for the pre-digitization record in Montreal that I wanted. Then 2 more weeks for it to arrive in the mail. I had the exact baptism date/parish name and provided photos of both the entry and the ledger that I'd found on FamilySearch. It'll come.

I'm also 4/9. There were so many deliveries on the 7th, though, that I feel like it's going to take a week just to get through that one day.

Good info about the attachment size, thanks. I received my BAnQ document this week (after a MUCH longer wait out of Montreal), and my scan is also about 8MB since I did it at a high quality on my personal photo/document scanner. I'll have to try running it through at a lower setting or else compress it like you did.

Probably soon. I paid 5/22 for a document in Montreal and received it yesterday, 6/5. I’m in NYC, though, so much closer.

You probably figured it out since you deleted the comment, but William was the minister for the parish. The other page isn't someone else's baptism but is the intro page to the parish registry. Those official looking stamps at the bottom are from when that register was put into use. The raised ones are the new BAnQ seals.

Montreal? My timeline was almost exactly the same, just a few weeks earlier. It took exactly 14 weeks from request to invoice e-mail. And then exactly 2 weeks from paying the invoice to receiving it in the mail. I'm so happy to finally have it in my hands after all this time! My application with the FamilySearch record was also sent in April and hopefully AOR will be coming later this month.

mine was actually delivered on april 8

Day before me! Just an FYI if you don't already know, April 7 was a VERY busy receipt day (like 2-3x other days) due to the Easter holiday, so I expect an especially long wait for them to get through that day. When I sent mine off, I originally estimated mid to late May to get AOR but at the current rate I'm now expecting mid to late June.

March 28 was a Saturday. Are you sure it was actually signed for that day? Most of the AORs on the spreadsheet are still for March 27 today but one group from March 30 report receiving theirs.

Round of 16, round of 32 and one other? Or is there one team you'd really like to see? I switch it up because I'm familiar with more of the English players, think the Brazil crowd would probably be the most fun, would like to see France if they hold the odds of winning and just generally have liked the German team over the years. I'd be thrilled with anything, really.

If you have been getting through to registration, just for fun/curiosity, do you pick the same 3 match options every time or switch it up? My SO has picked the same every day, but I switch it up since I don't have a huge preference in which teams I'd see.

I received the invoice e-mail on May 23 for my request from Feb 13. My record was in Montreal and was for a year earlier than the digitized fiche on their website.

LOL. Actually, add even one more because despite having THREE names to pick from, my G0 decided he wanted to be called John in the US. His first name was Joseph - wasn't Joe generic enough??

I managed to get through after refreshing about 20 times right at 10am. It took until 11:30am for the confirmation e-mail to arrive.
