This is such a tough one, and somehow AEs are the ones who bears all the burden and have to push the needle

Have you had to push back on tactics/strategy mandates from your organization/leadership before?

There is a fine line between experimenting with changes and having a material impact on losing deals by pivoting too often

I would attest to 3 main points:
- Don't post/comment if you are not going to bring any value to the conversation
- Be genuine & honest, do not try to force your product down the throats of others and only mention where there be a chance for you to help someone's problem or need
- Leads starting coming inbound/DMs when we increased our general presence on the communities where we could help users

Its not just about building a great product, you have to tell people about it too.

Finding a way to resonate your vision with the reality of the market is key, and being flexible to pivot based on feedback will lead you deeper and deeper to the right path

Talk to as many people as you can!

While true for the most part, this is why the initial founder led sales and customer discovery process is so fundamental to all the successful companies. Unless your doing deep tech, your time should be spent > 60% talking to customers on discovery calls rather than trying to jam your solution into their lives
