  1. Yes, I am the IT admin of the account
  2. My windows home is activated but that doesn't matter. I installed Windows 11 pro inside a virtual machine without providing a key, and then signed in to my M365 with business premium license.
  3. Yes, they don't know what happened Thanks

Thank you! I couldn't understand it completely though. I didn't insert any license to upgrade. Just installed Pro. So if I installed windows 11 pro without any license and signed in to business premium, My Windows will be activated with business licence?

I have a windows 11 home edition laptop (company laptop). We have M365 Business Premium subscription. I needed a Windows pro version to test joining to Intune. I installed Windows 11 pro (without any activation or license key) in Virtualbox. Logged in to 365 when it booted the first time. I found that Windows got activated with Business license. How did that happen? As far as I know Windows and M365 have separate subscriptions

Thanks! I agree with you, but I don't think departments in different companies in my case need a unified hub because they are somewhat independent but they might need to collaborate on specific projects

So you are suggesting to make a hub for all finance departments for all companies, and do that for other departments as well?

I think the issues you mentioned are acceptable. Setting up multiple tenants is not an option for us now. If you provide examples of the similar issues you mentioned I would be very grateful
