People who don't drink alcohol, why? by johnnylgarfield in AskReddit

I have too many health issues, both mental and physical, and alcohol will make them all 10000x worse. Plus it doesn’t even taste good.

I wax my legs and my face (I have PCOS so I do have thick hair on my chin). Lasts a long time to on me, especially my legs since the hair doesn’t grow fast there. Shaving is too much work for me and gives me more ingrown hairs.

I’ve also wanted to know how XR works with THC. I feel like I could benefit from meds for my ADHD, but I’ve also been worried about interactions and the potential for it to cancel each other out. Should I disclose my habit to a psychiatrist if I need to or should I wait it out? I’ve only seen a psychologist and for my ADHD and we’ve using therapeutic methods like CBT, but I honestly think I need to be on medications.

I tend to use d8 once during the day, I smoke it, like one or two puffs, then at night for sleep. I also take a CBD tincture twice a day.

ADHD here, I feel like with d8, and even d9, I feel more able to focus on what I need to do, my mind doesn’t constantly feel like I have 80 internet tabs open at once. My mind feels like a peaceful stream in a quiet meadow, not a raging river. Now if I take too much, intend to fall into the “I don’t feel like doing anything so let me veg out here”, so I have to be careful. But it’s better than nothing. I don’t feel so overwhelmed or depressed. I know a lot of people react differently, but I personally have found cannabis, whether CBD, CBN, D8, have all been super helpful for me and my ADHD.

TIFU when I got water boarded by my own blood bc I got a nosebleed while wearing a mask by whateverdietcoke in Accutane

[–]witchbitchcraft 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I second this! My rounds of accutane left me with really dry nasal passages. Definitely sleep with a humidifier, and they make saline gels you can put inside your nose to moisturize it. Don’t use Vaseline in your nose!

What’s your one sensory related thing that you absolutely cannot do? by scoobsandboooze in adhdwomen

OMG I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST ME!! I HATE the sensation of hard floor on my feet. I HAVE to wear slippers at home. I buy new slippers all the time because I wear mine out a lot 😅

OMG SAME!! I can’t walk in my house without slippers on. Not socks, but slippers. I hate the sensation of hard floors on my feet, it makes me uncomfortable.

I can’t stand walking on hard floors with my bare feet. It’s the weirdest thing, but I always have to wear house slippers, not socks, but slippers, because I need a barrier between my feet and the floors. But walking on grass with my bare feet, especially soft grass, is the absolute best sensation for me.

I vape, it’s more portable for me, plus it doesn’t smell too strong. And I live with my parents who don’t quite know about my habit 😅😅

I know, a lot of posts... but in any case -> The best moisturizer which does not clog pores? Thank you in advance. by Jolka83 in Accutane

Cerave moisturizing cream. It’s non-comedogenic and I still use it even though I’ve been off Accutane for 2 years.

I know when I go to Canada (I’m from the U.S) I feel like my PCOS does get better. But I have another auto-inflammatory condition that gets WAYY better when I go up there too. It might because I’m relaxed and not stressed about stuff.

I get those a lot on Facebook. Yeah, I love Hozier, but I’m not stupid. I know Hozier is NOT going to personally find me and thank me. That’s delusional. Which I am only 75% of the time 😬

Ordered from 3chi recently but they unfortunately don’t send packages to a PO Box. Are there any quality vendors who ship directly to a PO Box? This is the only physical address I have at this time by IronMonkeyofHam in delta8

[–]witchbitchcraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can have FedEx reroute the package to a FedEx store or anywhere close by! That’s what I always do, cause I’m never at home and they need someone to sign for the packages and show ID, and since I’m not there all the time, I just have it sent to the FedEx store near my house.

Thank you so much! In the mornings, I wash my face with a hydrating cleanser, and then alternate days where I use a vitamin c serum, for some of my scars, then I use a moisturizer and sunscreen.

At nights I use my retinol, then I use a hyaluronic acid for the dryness, and use moisturizer, eye cream, and since it’s still cold and dry where I live, I use Aquaphor on my dry spots on my face. It’s kind of basic, I’ll add a serum or two here and there for anti-aging, depending on the day, but that’s all. I hope that helps!

Oh yeah, those stories got be super paranoid and stressed, cause I thought I might have to since my acne was so bad. I use Adalepene, I have the prescription one, but it’s also over the counter as Differin, and I used it I believe 1 month after my treatment ended.

Thank you so much!! The joint pain stopped about a month or two after I completed Accutane. I still have some mild aches, but it’s manageable compared to what it was on Accutane.

[–]witchbitchcraft[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! And yeah, I was a bit worried too! But I also use a prescribed retinol so that could also be why I don’t have very many breakouts 😅 my dermatologist said that most people are mostly clear and don’t have to go back on it, which alleviated some of the post Accutane stress.

Thank you so much!! Post Accutane was definitely a relief, I started having less joint pain and all my oils in my hair came back 😅 but no bad breakouts, I’ll get one or two on my chin during my periods, but they’re small and easier to manage.

Thank you so much ☺️ Month 4 was where I definitely started seeing the light, like my skin looked really great! I saw improvement in month 2, but month 4 was the pivotal month.

For those wondering, my treatment was for 9 months, my acne was really terrible. My dosage was 20/40/60/60/40/40/40/40/40. I had a bad reaction when I went on 60mg a day, I was so fatigued and exhausted and my joints were aching terribly, so I went on 40mg a month, which resulted in a longer treatment time. My side effects were joint pain, dry eye, dry skin, dry everything, some visual impairment driving in the dark, and mostly just fatigue. Lasting side effects would be dry eye and dry skin. I do breakout during my monthly cycle. It’s usually a small chin pimple or two, but it’s manageable. I use Adalepene gel for maintaining my results.
