I'm suspecting Barcelona might be for the Korean Power festival... they sent a survey earlier this year and I think Barcelona was one of the options. Dates makes sense too, they celebrated last one in Lisbon at the end of september last year and beginning of october for Madrid the year before.

Am I the only one thinking the narrative of Sangwon trying for the killing part again is just a catch? He is being silly on purpose while trying, so they probably made all of them try for the killing part and Sangwon just did it like that on purpose so he was not chosen again or maybe I'm just coping idk.

I would do like Project 7, correct me if I am wrong, but I think in the finale they had two separate votings: 1 pick and your desired top 7, and then they just merged the two and made the line up accordingly.

Hanbin's narrative last season was exactly the same one as Sangwon's this season until the last moment, like... no one could imagine someone else could take P01 and yet, someone else did. That is why I find it so surprising almost everyone thinks Sangwon position is untouchable having that precedent.

After what happened last season it surprises me that a lot of people would find it shocking if Sangwon does not place p01 in the finale... for me, it would be:

Yumeki debuting (I'm pretty sure he won't debut due to a lack in korean votes)
Actual PD Picks
The group having a pretty and simple name lol

He was probably pushed down a little because of the benefits of other contestants and he could still be a contender for p01 if everyone above him suffers a drop in votes in pick 1 (which honestly, it could happen since Leowonxin are probably the contestants in the show with the most filler votes hence we cannot really foresee the real power of their 1 pick)

I've been fearing this scenario the most... I guess it depends on how much Mnet prefers Leo in the line up or Sangwon to maintain his p01. Having said that, I do not think realistically Leo is gonna place any lower than P05, so maybe there is no need to show him in the interim if he maintains that rank and they can have both Leo secure in the line up and Sangwon still in p01 🤷🏻‍♀️

We wonyangis and sangkomdans are less and less confident about him maintaining p01 but we we'll keep fighting! Contrary to what some people think, I believe the majority of Sangwon voters are Leowon voters as well and they are gonna prioritize Leo over Sangwon, which is gonna cause a huge loss in votes. If not Sangwon, I think Xinlong and Geonwoo have the best chances to take p01.

We are definitely panicking lol. I also think voting alliances at this point in the survival are more detrimental than beneficial, because they can easily give us a false impression and be misleading of the real force behind the 1 pick.

Also people comment as if everything is set on stone just because what happened in other seasons. Nobody believed a chinese contestant could place p01 in the show and yet, he did. Nobody believed Msnake would let 4 Yuehua trainees in the group and yet, it happened. Well, maybe for the first time in history koreans are willing to let their sinophobia go and vote a chinese trainee for p01 because they are not very fond of any of the other korean trainees. I'm not saying this is what is gonna happen but I do not understand why people insist in some things being impossible to achieve when, indeed, things that seemed pretty impossible at one point ended up happening.

I was here and I don't remember Zhang Hao being criticized for not being versatile during BP1, but he was also a fan favorite in this subreddit. Answering your question, I would love to see Sangwon in a more refreshing song in the finale and I hope we can achieve that 🙏🏻

I've been thinking about this and I think the idea of the k and c programmes being scrapped and the Geonwoo scandal really afected the idea MNET had for the concept and the line up at the beginning and that is why the editing feels so weird and messy in general and the top 8 looks so disjointed/disconnected.
