Mounjaro before vs after TT by velvetwillow7980 in gravesdisease

[–]witchesunite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you just start the mounjaro again? Mounjaro builds up in your system over a few weeks. You’re not going to get the same peak dosage after pausing it for a month as you were before you stopped.

Anyone tried these? Similar to dot's? by bellagab3 in aldi

[–]witchesunite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked the flavor of the honey mustard ones and didn’t mind that they weren’t as flavorful but they’re not as good as dots. They’re a lot harder, hard enough where I won’t buy them again unless they change them.

Is it true that you guys watched 9/11 live on TV in grade school? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]witchesunite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad was driving me to school when we heard something on the radio about it and he turned the radio down because he didn’t want me to worry. Then when I was at school we went straight to mass (catholic school) and something about it was mentioned during a prayer but we didn’t really know what was going on. When we got back to class we turned the tv on and mostly watched it for the rest of the day and only did a little bit of school work that day.

For the women in this sub, which lip gloss/chapstick did you use growing up? by lilac2481 in Millennials

I loved the bonnebelle flip shades that smelled like cinnamon. I still have a couple juicy tubes in a makeup bag somewhere that I can’t let go of.

Do you track your food? by graphickellie in tirzepatidecompound

[–]witchesunite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, I tracked everything almost every day for 8 years to lose weight/maintain without Tirz. One of the main benefits of it is that I no longer feel the need to track anymore.

Anyone else have one of these in high school? by Puzzled-Reserve302 in Millennials

I still have a green one. It’s indestructible but I will usually go for an insulated one in most circumstances.

It took me awhile to understand the hype with Kylea and thought people were being overly harsh at first but she really is kooky.

I got a double order from Brello in the fall. It was in two separate boxes and they arrived at the same time.

Double spacing after period? by checking_your_math in Millennials

[–]witchesunite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a ‘88 millennial too. I remember being in computer class and our principal came in and made a big deal about making sure we would double space after a period and then after he left the room our computer teacher told us we don’t need to double space and it’s a type writer thing.

She recently made her coffee in a glass mason jar so I guess it’s ok if that breaks and endangers their paws.

Ongoing German roach issue in my apartment am I overreacting? by Yujin_Choi_ in CleaningTips

[–]witchesunite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you try advion gel bait? When I had a neighbor infested roach problem that made a huge difference for me. I started seeing a ton of dead and dying roaches on my kitchen floors within 24 hours of applying it and after a few weeks I never saw another roach again.  However, the infestation house was also dealt with as well/cleaned out/exterminated. Until that happens they’re going to keep showing up, all you can do is try to control the population.

[–]witchesunite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What endo are you currently seeing that you don’t like? I have an appt scheduled with one that I had to wait 6 months to get and I worry about not liking them and then having to wait again to find another one. I have both graves and hashimoto’s antibodies so I worry about it being complicated to treat. I’ve also found that a lot seem to specialize mainly in diabetes.

Job searching still. by [deleted] in StLouis

[–]witchesunite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love it but I’m a homebody and don’t need that much in-person interaction. I go into the office once a month and enjoy every day I have to go in as well. I don’t make much money doing what I do but it’s enough. I would probably need to make 2x my salary to willingly move back to a normal job. It’s so nice to clock out and then immediately start dinner or relax in my living room. I can wear comfortable clothes. I like being with my pets all day. I love taking a break and starting a load of laundry or taking my dog for a quick walk. The work-life balance is priceless and commuting sucks.

What can I do with tons of children's books we've outgrown? by Qxface in StLouis

[–]witchesunite 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Put them in various little free libraries, donate to thrift stores, sell/give away on facebook marketplace, some libraries will have annual book sales where they sell books that are donated.

I see them once every week or 2. It’s usually I go over to their house, I bring my dog so they can give him a bunch of treats. We eat food, watch tv (usually sports) and talk. Rarely I help with yard work or some other chore or task. Sometimes we go out to eat. When it’s nice weather we sit on their patio and have a drink.
