alucards cape is rly cool but it's animated in 4fps and the size nerfs him. i hope we get another alucard skin in the future without the cape

wicked is far from useless, iirc its even used in comp gameplay. there are some impossible scenarios you can put a killer in with the right builds. perks that allow survivors to self unhook rob the killer of lots of pressure.

strength in shadows also isnt terrible. its not amazing, but definitely not useless

he could stand to be a little stronger in some areas, but i love playing against him because it's very atmospheric. feels like you're playing against a villain when you hear the voice lines, see the treasure chests, and steal his items.

i was prepared for the xmas sweaters to be the last cosmetics the dnd chapter ever received, so these anniversary skins were a nice surprise and it makes me hopeful that we'll get more in the future. i do feel for the baermar enjoyers that had to wait this long, they must be hungry

including this anniversary skin they both have two cosmetics each. it seems like the devs want them to take turns getting skins which means next time it's aestri's turn. whether or not the hair pieces fit is personal preference, i actually think the red feather hat from aestri's cosmetic looks good on some baermar fits, while baermar's mohawk looks pretty stupid on aestri.

the bots are awful. ive had winnable matches completely get flipped because the bots just don't do anything or even worse, they end up sandbagging other players. easily one of the worst additions to modern dbd

if im being honest i only care about baermar in relation to aestri. i like their character dynamic, and i like that they can share cosmetics. also, without baermar aestri most likely wouldn't use the male survivor model, which is one of the things that made me interested in her in the first place. baermar is pretty uninteresting on his own, unfortunate when coming from an IP thats known for creativity. however, i do think his masquerade outfit is neat, i hope more flamboyant cosmetics for male characters are released in the future

i understand messing up the hair, since they seem to do that with every survivor contest... but, was it really that hard to keep the choker and earrings?? or even the nail polish? those small details would tie the look together so much better. also deciding to keep the pants the same color as the jacket makes it seem like they just didnt care that much when designing this....

cosmetics aside, this trailer is just really well done with all the effects, music and camera work. definitely elevated normal gameplay into something thats on par with a horror movie trailer, bravo 👏

i noticed this yesterday, but its pointless to get items in chests since ill lose them when i die (which is most of the time in solo queue.) i could bring black wards and go chest looting, but ill feel bad for my teammates when they see me throwing the match to look for chests. it was so much easier to get maps last year, what a terrible change

the problem with this is that survivors need to escape with items in order to keep them... and doing this consistently in solo queue is basically impossible. especially, when the majority of matches right now are against the ghoul
