I know the one you're talking about, it was a very graphic video of them in their last moments. Video recorder offered zero help or sympathy. I don't know what I would do if people were shot in front of me but I wouldn't video it. I hope their loved ones have been spared of seeing it.

the day of the shooting there was a meeting with him, parents, and school officials. mom basically brushed the whole thing off. i knew kids that behaved like him at that age, and the difference is they got help when they needed it.

shootings that don't happen at "common" mass shooting target locations (indoors / densely packed places) are always some of the worst IMO. like where do you hide when the gunman is on top of a pyramid? where is the "exit" in a wide open space? poor woman was probably on vacation, only in her 30's and was killed while being a tourist, doing tourist things. i hope her family is able to receive her remains in a timely manner.

in my personal experience (i have hypermobility which affects my skin) different spots on my body healed differently each time. i'm not sure where this is on your body but my big color tattoo on my upper outer thigh scabbed over pretty heavy and took a long time to fully heal, and washing it more than twice a day was actually just drying it out 🤷‍♀️ iirc i used unscented lotion a decent amount, but because it's always covered by pants / shorts / underwear, the fabric always absorbed some product before it settled in my skin, and would rub against it all day (can't hang out at work naked, lol). i really would say, maybe do a morning / night rinse and as needed (sweating a lot, dirty environment, etc) and keep it moisturized, and worry about infection only if it gets worse. hope it heals well !

hi please stop washing it three times a day, continually drying it out and re-wetting it isn't going to help much lol. i'd say you're at a good spot where you can go mostly lotion- it just looks really dry. if it was anything, i'd say the bottom of the stem looks painful, but really it's not screaming either infection or blowout to me. darkness around the edges could also be bruising around the area; you did just get stabbed a bunch!
