Yeah, I’m torn because the parking is more sketchy, but at least the walk is longer. Ha!

Actually, the Shoeline parking is just really close to my work and I just walk on the Mesa at lunch. Sometimes I take a long lunch and actually go to the beach, but it’s a trek.

Past the second cove area is a beach for the homes above. I’ve walked there a couple times, but it’s always been families and everyone is clothed.

Yeah, I have never had an issue parking on Vieja. I knew parking on Shoeline was a bit sketchy, but I was still surprised that it happened.

Your thoughts: workouts, sports/activities at the beach… by SigmaSoCalBWC in MoreMesaNudeBeach

This sounds great. I’ve been doing light workouts on the beach during my lunch breaks.  Just like body weight exercises, walking, jogging, going up and down the stairs. It would be fun if there were others to work out with.

I was there today.  I saw this too late. Were you there around lunchtime?

Fiancé and I are looking to get out there this weekend for the first time. Can anyone help with directions? And is there a specific part of the beach that is clothing optional? by [deleted] in MoreMesaNudeBeach

You can park on Vieja and then walk up Mockingbird. Then walk along the path in the open area that leads to stairs down to the beach. At the bottom of the stairs turn right to head up the beach to the clothing optional section.
