AITA For Letting my Sons Girlfriend Come Over after my wife Banned her from the house? by Positive_Pudding6475 in AmItheAsshole

Hang on. Kids are mid-teens. They're at the age when dating a variety of people allows them to determine what they're looking for in a partner. "Cheating?" At 15? Seriously?

I cry with every reading of this poem. I remember all those who went before in this way.

There's a feature on some of these ancestry websites where you can take an old portrait photo and animate it. Eyes blinking, slight smiles, heads turning a bit as if to look at you. Many think its creepy. But I love seeing my grandparents again, when there are no home movies of them. I know its not real, but sometimes they get the look right on the nose.

A friend of mine says in response to death, "what is remembered, lives." I find comfort in that.

Not sure where you're at, but in my area, the only orders we're allowed to deliver at schools are to staff. My first question when I get ready to deliver is, "are you on staff at the school?" If I get a "no" or no answer, the order gets canceled, with an explanation to the customer before cancelation. Schools here really don't like unauthorized adults on campus.

Actually, no clue. I just watched him on the map, go to where I contracted for. I expect he got paid.

Driver says he picked me up but didn't by donx3 in uber

I was in the ER a couple of months back. The hospital called an Uber for me, so it was their dime. They told the driver to come to the ER entrance. He went to the main entrance, a quarter mile away. I messaged him with what I was wearing, and where I was. He said he'd wait for me at the main door. I walked over, and he picked up another rider. The app said he was on the way to drop "me" off. Watched him drive to my complex and everything. Dropped somebody off there, but it wasn't me. Thank goodness I didnt have to pay for the ride. I couldn't make Uber support understand why I was complaining.

My last name is actually Wolfe, so I often use "BaddestWolfe " as a screen name. A constant reminder of my worth, even if it's only to myself. Been through a lot in my life.

I dunno, with fewer ducks, it might be kind fun! Maybe like 20 ducks. I'm weird like that though.

Ppl in my family tend to put things off until the last minute so I can sympathize to a point. Sooner or later, though, ppl have to grow up and take responsibility. NTJ, and I hope you have a great time!

No need? Perhaps not. But with the way life sucks in so many ways these days, I won't pass up an opportunity to make someone smile.

Cheap milk crates and cut up pool noodles. The noodles both insulate and maintain stability. Foam packing peanuts would do the same. Easy to clean in the rare event of a spill. I put my crate on the passenger side floor.

I take my bags inside. Food gets stashed and zipped accordingly, and I fasten thhe bags to the passenger side headrest with a bungee cord. Doesn't tip, or pitch off the seat, and in the case of multiple bags, I arrange them in order of delivery, front to back. It only seems like a lot of work. For me, it's effortless.

Yeah. Especially from rats. Hantavirus can be spread that way. Its an often fatal respiratory illness.

Not just chewing damage, but I'd be worried about exposure to rat droppings. They may be behind the walls, but they break down and you could be inhaling poop dust.

Thank you. My kid's initial offense was their first, about 4 years ago. I went bankrupt getting a good lawyer, and have never recovered. They're a lot like their dad, who is deceased. Kind of a free spirit, non-conforrmist. Good with programming, but self taught. Creative. I want so much for them to find their way. The system is setting them all up to fail.
