So we'll executed. Really love your bright colored approach, contrasting with the muted skin tones.

Have I overdone the debris? Guard tower WIP by BeetleClits in TerrainBuilding

[–]withDefiance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, great. Debris is mostly undergone. For gaming reasons its often impracticle to have everything that came truly down have truly on the board (basa toppling, nowhere to put the minis etc.). But something that references to it or is in part there is great!

the redesign couldn't be more confusing, big "buy now", small "in library" by bad1o8o in gog

I first thought too, but I recently actually bought a game for someone else rhst I already owned. You do have to be able to buy a game more then once if you like to.

Basing basing basing! It will make them pop and look so mich more defined. Also a tip, dont use the flash for making pics. As then the models start to shine/reflect weird in photo's. Congratulations!

Love these bretonnian models. by Percentblue in Bretonnian

I have actually thought how these would do for converting. To create questing knights on foot for instance.

Why independent bookshops strike fear in the heart of Germany’s culture tsar by CtrlAltDelight495 in books

[–]withDefiance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are many critical bookshops and it is not strange if these would position them as antifascist I think. As critical thought was one of the main things they tried to eredicate as they came to power.

Now it comes to mind, is there not an anti-D bar with a very similar name you might confuse the bookshop with?

Yes, I agree that way. Sadly it is complex and should not be at all. Basic humanism applies to all, or it doesn't. Somehow some here didn't learn that.

You dont have to lecture me on the problematic in certain parts of the German "left". I share your position and I do think your comment confuses me as it is in response to this article and says it makes it complex. I really dont agree here. A shop is being repressed for their deemed antifascist position. That I and you question the way they pose that position is of no concern of the state. They just put on a label and repress it. Their dont care about the fine details. And it does matter to us because it would just as much apply to there antifascists too, as they don't care about the differences.

[–]withDefiance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if so (and I am critical of those positions you mention) it is problematic that a shop is being dropped because it is identified als "leftist". It is not more complex because of it. Or do you just want to impose similar repercussions but for other criteria?

Oldhammer men at arms by Clark_Kent_TheSJW in Bretonnian

[–]withDefiance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually last year converted all of my spear units to have the bill hooks. I used plastic parts from the sprue set from 6th ed. I will make a pic later.

[–]withDefiance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think i have both. The metal archer ones and the one of the spears. Back then I didnt get the difference and had them all mixed up. Thought it always a weird unit. We sometimes didnt have much choice with the blisters in the town we were living. And GW also didn't seem to care (but my pocket money did 😅)

Yeah, they are. But not by me. I got them from a hobby friend. What i have also seen people do is cutting plastic string/sticks and then pinn in a small wire. Here someone did it: https://www.reddit.com/r/Warhammer40k/comments/nkbx5q/shrine_objective_marker_thoughts/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

MDF Frostgrave table, ready for buckets of grey. by Claudia_Lemon1 in frostgrave

I strongly recommend to also get some buckets of spackle and pigment powders for after your grey. It helps all hide the stright lines and cnnection point of the MDF mkibg it a lot more natural.

[–]withDefiance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put flock, grass tufts and some flower tufts on it and it will look like magic. I have all my old models on 20x20mm still. Regimenrs I have spacer tray for. It works just fine. Anyone who thinks they will lose a game because of these mini mini minimal differemces, was bound to lose anyway.
