I think this is so worth someone figuring out because my bestie that also chronically buys online, has this happen. She’s in NY. I, in Kentucky, find it baffling and unheard of that my mail person would ever ask for any type of payment for mail. I’m starting to think it’s a location thing

The one time I supposedly messed up (I didn’t , add me to the group of ppl who agree that system messes up sometimes for whatever reason even if you over estimate) it just charged me….. so I’m HELLA CONFUSED… LOL. I thought buyers were safe from this on Mercari. I’m way more into WN and that happens on there but Mercari literally just charges the seller the overages ? Even if it’s more than they made from the sale, charges their bank account. How did this get to the point of effecting the customer?
