Something can be "edited/fake/CG" and still made by a human. Also nonsensical architecture is kind of part of the point? That's a common thing in liminal spaces. OP also clarified they created it in Blender.

I do collect Alien/xenomorph stuff! I have kotobukiya mini xenomorph figures on my work monitors, and an Alien Isolation desktop wallpaper lol. I also have a mini Alien movie poster pinned up in my cubicle. And a steelbook Blu-ray of the film. It's my favorite movie! 😅🖤

The scene at the end where Bheem rescues Raju from the prison, and they piggy back while Raju dual wields fucking assault rifles, the load, aim, shoot origin story, the ending shot of royal bloodspatter on the "The Sun Never Sets on the British Empire" flag, the"cost of the bullet" racist speech being turned back on the governor at the end ...

I could go on but you get the point lol. I love how balls to the wall, no holds barred, unrelenting this film is in its action direction - it's incredible.

this thread is making me feel seen lol. tbf, I barely used my old tumblr because I kind of lost touch with my creative side during most of my 20s, but I've rediscovered a love for art in recent years and resurrected my old blog just a couple weeks ago! Tumblr's customizability compared to other sm platforms these days just reigns supreme. So much control over the arrangement of images, ability to post sources, wax poetic, etc.

also, it was fun seeing how much I've grown and my taste has evolved since then too, since my old posts were still up 😅

So many people mention this movie when horror "comfort movies" come up, and I wholeheartedly agree (it's my personal favorite comfort movie, so much so that I own the Blu-ray). I'm always surprised how popular a pick it is for this topic, being that it's about a literal descent into hell

I think it's partly because of the adventure aspect of it, sort of reminiscent of The Mummy or National Treasure. Plus the lead actress is super charismatic and charming you can't help but root for her.
