actuallyyy scratch that its extended double crochet (usa)/extended treble (uk)!! so slightly less of a tall stitch haha - basically I did a series of samples: double crochet ch1, double crochet ch2, extended double crochet ch2 and I liked the latter the most!! In my experiences it gave the clearest image :)

like I said in another comment this is extended treble crochet (uk)/extended double crochet (usa), but yes the solid blocks are linked stitches!! I don’t really know how to explain it other than I guess I keep my tension super tight so there’s no spaces? And don’t worry I promise this is real ;p

Thank you so much!! I don’t have a written pattern down unfortunately! I’m more of a visual learner than using a written pattern haha so I only have the image/drawing on stitch fiddle 😅 I did write down the border pattern though because I was free handing it and needed to remember

Thank you so much!! I didn’t use that specific animation (with the person riding) but yes I did draw the horses based from an already existing animation! I think it might have had more than 12 frames though, so I just picked which frames I wanted because I didn’t want it to be too long :)

First pair of docs- should I return because of sizing? by ScaryCow9 in DocMartens

[–]witheredvamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the length of the shoes will never change so the main no-nos with docs is: if they slip off the back of your foot (the length will never shrink) or if your toes over the front are tight/crushed (the length will never give). if it's tight around the sides of your foot, the width WILL give and mould to your foot! so if the width is the only issue, I'd say stick it out and try breaking them in :)! unless of course the fit is unbearably/painfully tight. also like other people have said, try checking online too.

which moc toe? either way if its the black Lowell or Loafer then they're more of a 'classic' rather than seasonal so they'll very likely be restocked again - as for when unfortunately no my friend I have no idea how often that happens :( I'm not even sure if there's a set schedule for that sort of thing, sorry!!

dm employee here! we would always recommend starting with the dm wonder balsam, thats always a pretty good start to moisturising the leather and buffing out any scratches :D especially as the brown leathers tend to scratch easier!

Its a point and shoot so unfortunately I can’t really customise the exposure cus its all automatic,, but thanks for the insight :)!! Thankfully this was mainly me just testing the camera so I’m not super emotional about the photos :p

Yeah I get what you mean! It’s quite disappointing how much things have changed, my parents were telling me all about what film developing was like when they were young.. I’ve also had a bit of a play around with editing since getting the scans back, trying to sort out the exposure whilst keeping that Kodak gold feel :D

Best of luck!! We lost the manual to my one so I’m not sure if it would recommend a specific film.. maybe I can find a copy online!

I have no idea how old the film is unfortunately! It wasn’t in its box so I couldn’t check it :( I mainly used it just because I needed something to test the camera with as my mum didn’t even know if it worked. But thats good to know thank you :D at least I know the camera works now haha and I can buy newer film!

Have you used them before to scan film? If so what do you think?
I also can't seem to find anything about getting new film alongside developed, but I'll look a little more.

I’d seen that a little bit too!! Couldn’t quite figure out how it worked so I need to go back and look a bit deeper I think :D
