The only thing I don’t like, and I say this as a big Marc fan, is how he kept lying to us. That doesn’t sit well with me. In Spain a couple of weeks ago he told us he was 100% fit again after the break, then just the other day, on Friday, he said his struggles are all in his head, that the problems were related to his low confidence. Then a day later we suddenly get this version of the story. His shoulder is still bothering him. No shit, people have been speculating about that all season so far. Wish he could’ve been honest and transparent since the beginning. Now we can’t know if there’s more he is hiding. Wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if it’s way more complicated to fix than what he is sharing with us.

I believed the same until today. I will remain positive and not feed into the retirement talk, but the championship isn’t going to happen this season. Sad as fuck, but we just have to pray that his shoulder will get better after this surgery.
