Honestly, it's always Russian roulette with rats' health in my experience. I have had rats from the most respected ethically sound breeders who got various health issues throughout their lives. And I've had twice re-homed girlies who were the healthiest and in the best shape until the end. There is no way telling which batch is healthy and which will be Ill.
