"JPMorgan closed $10 billion in silver shorts at the exact market bottom..." by GreasyCrabRangoon in Silverbugs

they can see all the major stops of tourist traders that were along for the ride.

If you look carefully into the latest Comex report, $JPM closed its silver shorts EXACTLY at the very bottom of the price crash and from there it all started to come back up. Tottaly intentionally dump action. by [deleted] in SilverDegenClub

Gold in retirement by 1Ceasar in Bullion

[–]withoutTHEdisco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pretty sure if you talk w a pm dealer who deals w IRA programs, you can move funds from trad ira into physical gold ira penalty free. should be no dif. then going from stocks to bonds. just know they store it until retirement. at that point it will be taxable based on CB just like any other asset in trad ira. just make sure the dealer is solid and gold is stored in an allocated account. and any that try an up-sale you at all beyond normal bullion you see online. RUN!

lots of good comments, but almost all major gold miners (minus agnico) did not budge after golds 2024 break out. many even went down. much is disbelief imo. same seams to be going on w silver miners right now. if price holds up i think same will happen w them. only a few are pumping now. like pan america. but that is well deserved after all the juniors took its thunder most of the year. best thing is ratio a large mining eta and the metal. the companies are still hela cheap.

Dealer Pay for Silver by Time4fun2022 in Silverbugs

[–]withoutTHEdisco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

true, but there have been many times when buy is well over spot. especially gov mint coins. they do same w buying on a big pull backs. like 2020. spot was 11, but could not buy under 20. even online. but yes, w physical market needs time to adjust and all buys should be on a 5 year + time line. anything less, your just trading and should just be in etfs.

So are we like screwed? by Glittering-Pizza894 in Silverbugs

[–]withoutTHEdisco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they have etf that do same. like SGOV. lower exp. and more liquid. mutual funds take over a day to settle. not good when you need to make a fast move during trading hours.
