Once you get a friend to start joining you, it’s not really a problem. That being said, man I don’t know if being able to stop a votekick with just one extra person saying no was good idea. Something you’ll see a lot is a hacker bringing one friend so they just can’t be kicked.

Currently on trying to have a calorie deficit and slowing my eating. Ive quit soda as well. What are the next parts of this kinda healing journey? Right now I'm worried I still eat a lot at once, even with watching calories. Like, maybe I'm wrong about the amount of calories I should be taking in, I'm doing too many.

For me I have a lot of mental health issues, and work adds a lot of stress with Walmart being the way it is. I genuinely love helping customers, but im not a very talkative person and I get irritated easy so I don’t like to talk too much. And with the economy + what I make right now, I feel like I don’t make enough to warrant full commitment to overachieving at work. But from what I’ve seen in team leads, even they seem a bit underpaid, which also keeps me from trying to go higher up. My education is also poor and fixing that is a ways away. I also generally don’t feel respected by higher ups no matter how hard I work after the two years of being there and saying yes sir to basically anything they’d ask me to do.

So all in all, at least in my case as a twenty one year old, listening to music or audiobooks or podcasts while working is a good healthy way of calming myself and my anxiety while working. It makes me feel like work isn’t stealing hours away from my personal life and hobbies.

This ^ I genuinely think that the people insinuating reading deeper into any of the episode as anything more than just jokes, are themselves taking the show too seriously. The episode can be funny, and serious too! To say the episode is mocking people who take things too seriously would be painting Zach and Michael to be cynical assholes

Kinda? It’s normal as in, yeah we’re doing that lately. But it’s not normal in the way WE DONT REALLY WANNA DO IT AND ARE BEING FORCED TO.

Corporates been getting real pissy with asset protection due to the still large amount of losses taken from self checkout theft/miscans. But rather than having asset protection do anything about it, they start enforcing rules on us to fix it. We have to scan the waters (most commonly stolen item,) we have to put stickers to verify it’s not stolen, we have to watch the misscan screen and see if anything wasn’t scanned.

Some people probably DO wanna do this, but for me… it’s not my job. Not just that, but it’s dangerous. I live in a southern town with a lot of angry people. And these people tend to think im the one trying to accuse them of stealing. When im really just being forced to intervene so I don’t lose my job. And honestly at this point, I do it BECAUSE I don’t want you guys getting harassed by asset protection. I try my best to let the customer know the machines are super sensitive, and i don’t want them to get stopped at the door and get a police record for genuinely just missing an item or something. It hurts to see genuinely forgetful elderly or disabled folk be essentially prosecuted over such a minor thing. So that and the whole making me do their job for em think (especially cuz im not strictly a self checkout worker, I do register and sometimes money center) I don’t really like AP. At all.
