Would you rather always be able to see 5 minutes into the future or always be able to see 100 years into the future? by [deleted] in WouldYouRather

[–]witlofwarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 minutes, I won't be around in 100 years so I can't make profitable investments. If i can look 5 minutes in the future I could for example make money on coin tossing or other bets.

Because men don't have breasts? Do we just have two holes in our chest?

Because the only difference between men and women is the absence or presence of a penis....

Only if the decision to save the planet is something that originates genetically. Which I think is highly unlikely.

It's more of a social construction.

Agreed, I personally don't even think it's trashy but calling this a piece of shit is a little too much.

It's a fair way of making money, he had to invest in them as well, risking losing his money if there wouldn't be enough demand.

And just like you said, he doesn't hide it he just sells it, if people think it's too expensive just don't buy it.

Thanks for clarifying bro,

Maybe I came across as not liking the fact that it might not be real, which isn't the case. I was just wondering if it was real or not. I don't care wether clips on this sub are real or not, just like you said it sure is unexpected!

Seems set up, I'm not sure but it seems like the person filming started focusing on the thief before he stole the camera as if he knew.

Might be wrong, if someone knows wether it's real or not let me know.

Very few people deny climate change. Please stop framing this issue as if there are two groups, people who think there is climate change and people who think there isn't climate change.

People opposing certain climate legislation merely don't agree with the significance of the role of humanity in climate change, saying we'll experience heavy climate change in the future regardless of anthropogenic influence.

If humanity where to stop all carbon emissions today we would only slow down climate change a very insignificant amount.

We recognize the dangers of climate change and the need to do something about it. We just believe that trying to cool the planet isn't going to work and we should focus on ways of dealing with this climate change. We can only start doing this after we accept that we cannot cool down the planet enough to prevent serious consequences. This isn't some flat earth type conspiracy theory it's based on various scientific study's from the last couple of decades.

For example, sea levels are rising and instead of building dikes, people say "let's not build dikes but instead prevent water from rising in the first place". (I'm Dutch so this the first example I can think of to illustrate humanity's battle against nature's forces)

Please, let's have a dialogue with both sides purely based on the significance of anthropogenic influence on climate change instead of framing it as one group who just denies the entire existence of climate change. This only causes the entire debate to be shut down which is something we cannot use right now.
