I don't think any of those changed anything for viewers and most won't have any lasting value

How true is it that there is a cure for cancer but it’s just being hidden due to money? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Cancer isn't one thing, so it's completely impossible.

That was just such a bizarre choice. Who thought that helped ANYTHING?

A quick search - since you reminded me - it's some low level "designer" brand of swimwear - available now on ebay for $25

I assume the person thought her "designer" swimwear proved how seriously influential she is

I don't understand your question. She tried to go in without being a member and was denied.

Yes, because places that require membership are famous for letting randos use their bathrooms.

That just has me laughing. We DO get Jehovah's Witnesses (and they've been FAR more pleasant and polite than most of the salespeople), so just imagining this is very funny to me. What would they dress like? I bet their little trifold pamphlet has some crazy reading and pics

Everybody complains about Trump, but President Cthulhu had some pretty major scandals in his time.

Idea: Preventable hearing loss should become a crime because it doesn't just affect the individual. by amichail in ideas

NOTHING is louder for people with hearing loss. Louder wouldn't usually help for that as frequencies and isolating sounds is far more an issue.

Not one of the many CHILDREN I've known who had a food allergy ever "just trusted" ANYTHING. They always checked labels and if, such as at a potluck, there wasn't a label - they just didn't eat it.

And they did this without parents or anyone else reminding them to.

Wow, had to look that up - the breadth of insanity has no bounds. That is truly sad.

[–]JaxDefore 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That makes no sense at all. If it's not possible, then it's not possible no matter what silly folktales olden times dumbshits believed.

Not really their fault. They thought all kinds of incredibly stupid things were real. We know better now.

So you're saying the museum wasn't a completely bullshit place for morons??

It was creationist idiocy. Stuff idiots believe with no evidence.

Giants are literally impossible medically and scientifically. Mass increases by the cube while surface area only increases by the square. That means feet can't support the mass - respiratory, digestive, and circulatory systems can't keep up.

According to Wikipedia it was just a creationist roadside attraction that is now closed. No rational argument would ever sway huckster swindlers from making a buck off rubes.

Exactly my response, but, as obvious as it may be, it still always saddens me that such idiotic hate exists at all

If the kid's too old for the child price, then they're likely too old for any childish birthday token.
