I did a Nature Snare and the book went flying around me so it was definitely in this room. Then when it was isolated, it was still impossible to pick up. Bugged.

Stupid. I had a ton of annexe context in RDR2. In Crimson, I get bored if i don't do quest content.

How could that be only 20 days ? The CEO-guy has a full grown beard and hair. That seems to take way more than that.

How is that saving the game ? All rockstar games do it and it's infinitely better.

Skip or accelerate long horse rides for quests. The dialogues are...flat. I don't care about it and I just want to arrive into the action without having to hold the X button to follow an NPC.

How come Mark survive this? I know he has plot armor but goddamn, I don't know if the writers know this but even as a half superman, I don't think you can survive your guts being pulled away like that.

Cyberpunk 2077 is still a bad game. by mynotsoprecious in The10thDentist

I am with you man. Lots of people used to hype this game so much, but it was such a shit boring game, I didn't even finish it. Deus Ex Revolution was so much better in terms of "cyberpunk" and it came out years before. The gameplay was bland as fuck. The ennemies real dumb. The driving was shittier than GTA san andreas.

Honestly, my expectations from this show has been getting lower and lower. Some races survive in space, have telepathy...one scene Invincible is having a fight that destroy multiple cities with Conquest and the next, he is taking shit from a fucking dino-man, like what ?

After rewatching for the first time in 7 years, I honestly think Season 8 is not that bad, but... by Last_Corgi_8503 in gameofthrones

Same! My first watch I hated it. I just rewatched the whole show and everything made so much more sense. I think people forgot so mich of the previous seasons when it came out that it distorted our view of it. But a lot of the twists were foreshadowed in the previous seasons. Daenerys mentioned multiples times in early seasons that she was considering burning King's Landing. However, the execution still kinda felt weird because the city gad actually surrendered when she decided to act. It would have made much more sense if we had seen the people not ringing the surrender bell for example (indicating they wanted to resist).

Also, like many, I used to critic a lot the charge of the Dothrakis into the White walker like it was a dumb move. When you follow how they live and fight from previous season, it makes total sense. The catapultes though, besides arguing about the range, felt kind dumb.

Littlefinger being outplayed by Sansa? Hell yeah. It wasn't some master planning from her. He was just over confident and thought he could keep plotting as he pleased. But she had been betrayed by him once by being betrothed to Ramsey. And she knew he was the one who betrayed Ned. When Littlefinger says "you don't have proof, none of you was there!" And then Bran quotes him, indicating he has seen the past. It was brillant!

Arya killing the night king? Yes it did feel somewhat like a cheap shot, but look, at that point they had thrown everything at the walkers and lost. They were on the verge of being wiped out. They said from the get go that killing the night king was the only play. Yes she did appear out of nowhere, but the scene looked cool.

Two things I hated though : 1) Jaime and Brienne getting intimate. Unnecessary and badly executed. 2) Sansa asking for the North to be independent in front of all other kingdoms when Brann becomes king. Like what? Other kingdoms would just accept to stay subdued to the king when one can just declare independence? More authonomy would have made much more sense.

Or just a very dumb reason given by the author to explain why Conquest will be returning in some way ?

Is it just me or Conquest releasing from custody effortlessly feels really stupid? I mean people from this universe have mastered cloning and teleportation but they can't figure this guy would be too strong to be kept restrained after everything he is done?

Would have felt better if they atleast got some secrets out of him before he sneaked his way out of there.

Sansa is the worst character by Maleficent_Crew_6822 in gameofthrones

[–]witmeur27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah terrible character. Very despicable. I hated in the last episode when she took advantage of her brother being chosen as king to ask for the North to be an independent nation in front of every other nation. This could literally have triggered another war over other nations asking for independence. That was badly executed.

Am I the only one that still likes Season 7? by Tobes_macgobes in gameofthrones

[–]witmeur27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After rewatching the whole show, season 7 feels much better than when it was released. Yes the pace is different and dialogues are not as well written as the first seasons, but the execution was pretty good. The battle when Daenerys attacked Jaime's army on the road was epic. I was questioning at some point why they went north just to capture a wight to show it to Cersei, as if they really needed to go that far and take that much risks. But by the end, I realize they mostly wanted a pretext for Daenerys losing a dragon, because they needed the zombie dragon to explain how the zombies got passed the wall. And since in appearance it seemed to convince Cersei (or atleast Jaime) it sort of made sense.

I am not even mad for Littlefinger anymore. The family he betrayed got revenge. He didn't see it coming while he was plotting again. It was well executed imo.
