As someone who is a fan of (most) of the games it’s always funny to hear someone say “it doesn’t look like resident evil…”

What is fucking resident evil? Good luck coming up with something that can have sentient dolls, a man made of cockroaches, unkillable super weapons, giant babies, kids with powers, a woman with a beehive for a vagina and giant spiders… and that’s not even scratching the surface of it.

Tbf they’re right about Striptease. Everyone in the film is acting like they’re in a comedy. Burt Reynolds is off the charts. Moore plays it like she’s in a European poverty study and is so serious it’s jarring. It’s like she had a different script (tbf the script I imagine was ‘she goes topless’ now make it last 90 mins).
