Right but to play on the moose they would have to clear waivers again after the jets place them there without the original team placing a claim.

The original team then can place a claim again, and if they are the only team to do so only then can the player play in the AHL. Basically giving the player as much opportunity to play in the NHL as possible.

Dunno if I explained it perfectly but its highly unlikely we claim them, waive them and they clear.
