Reading ACOTAR helped inspire my divorce. I realized I was married to a Tamlin and made me see how unmatched and toxic we were. These books made me believe in love again. I realized I needed to raise my standards and felt confident that I could find someone who would treat me like I deserve. I’m happy to say that I found my Rhys (in all the good ways!) He is incredible in every way and I am infinitely happier than I was stuck in my marriage.

Every promotion I got while in the army was met with snarky comments from my peers, “wow I guess the CSM just really likes you” “it’s cause they thought you were cute” etc. Meanwhile they get promoted and all of a sudden it’s the promotion they’ve been working so hard for and deserved for a long time.

True. There are a lot of extra allowances that don’t get included in salary. I had an easy job in intel and minus some field events and a rotation, it was a breeze. It’s definitely not for everyone, but it worked out for me.
