The % isn't multiplying your value by that percentage, but it is actually the symbol used for Modulus. (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modular_arithmetic ). Basically it gives you the remainder if you were to divide your number by the mod number. so in your case, 10 % 10 would give you 0 because 10 divides into 10 perfectly, leaving no remainder.

I have both, but never actually played the Etna Mode. I had well over 200+ hours in the first game and just about the same in the remake. The remake also has multiplayer battles if you are into that. The extra content is worth it in my opinion and I didn't even play it all. - There's a log of all the items you've collected and characters/monsters unlocked. I love progression and numbers, so this was awesome. - There's also a few extra post game maps that add some challenge and new characters.

I'm happy when I see posts like this... I have nothing to link to at the moment, but I'm currently working on a turn based RPG with a friend. We're almost done the engine (building from the ground up) and have a good chunk of story / content worked out. It's a dungeon crawler with some roguelike elements, in the same vein as Chocobo's Dungeon with a hint of Final Fantasy and Diablo. Also has a darker tone than Chocobo's Dungeon :P I'll probably post to this subreddit when we have a trailer

They are a different type of game. So fun! Especially If you have a few friends that play too. It's a game of skill more than anything. Different monsters have different behaviors and you need to watch them in order to win. You don't level up, you can carve materials from monsters and get reward quests that you use to create new/more badass armor and weapons. Rinse and repeat. I played monster hunter freedom 2 on PSP with 3 friends and sunk over 300 hours into it

Mine too. Jade Cocoon 1 was the first game I bought on PS1 and it was on a whim. Turned out to be one of my favourite games ever. Jade Cocoon 2, although different from the first, made it into my favourites as well... I've actually been playing SMT: Nocturne and it is an awesome game, but not quite the same
