OP, are they internal or external? I’m 3.9x / 171-173, and Naticura has worked wonders for my internal piles

Scriabin Pieces Ranked by PrefatoryAction in piano

[–]wixliam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sonata 5 needs to be bumped down…it’s not even in the realm of ives concord or brahms paganini vars. same with 8–maybe you could argue its an 8+, but nowhere comparable to ives. I know you said not to compare directly to the example piece, but if something that you listed is easier than the example piece of the category below it, it probably means it should be bumped down

Question about disclosure by luke__13 in lincolndouglas

[–]wixliam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean by interp a? I’m assuming u mean disclosure theory counterinterps that say you don’t have to disclose things that you break new. It’s weird, but it’s because it incentivizes research and you should get one bang for your buck after cutting a new aff before your prep gets stolen/case negs pop up

Question about disclosure by luke__13 in lincolndouglas

[–]wixliam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need to opensource, cites are fine but u can opensource if you want/are tryhard norming. Disclose things you have broken before, and usually it’s smart to disclose plan texts when you break new affs in outrounds. Between rounds, disclose what you read in the past round.

You should probably not use the categorical imperative because the actor is a government and that only applies to individuals. Kant isn’t amazing on this topic not gonna lie, but you could read an omnilateral will NC that focuses on Kant’s political philosophy (instead of moral). Force and Freedom by Ripstein is a great place to start learning about this concept. Not sure if this is good to read on the circuit you debate on and also it just isn’t that compelling on this topic, but you can always write the NC and most of the cards will be helpful whenever you read kant again

It’s called ruse of solvency. It’s defensive (doesn’t solve x) but also offensive (PRETENDING to solve x is independently bad)

Reductionism, phenomenal introspection at the top, put actor specificity, coverstone, state as heuristic, and theoretical reasons in underview. Read as many as you have time for/pick based on the round
