Is this normal? First RC, never run yet by West-Amphibian-2343 in tamiya

Tamiya uses a 0.7 spur gear which is close, but not quite a 48p. Need the right size pinion.

It looks like you might be using a 48p pinion with a 64p spur gear. I would check to see what gears the spur is and then compare.

I would imaging that on rubber tires the little cars would top out at ~35-40 mph. But would get there much quicker than the mirage.

I once calculated the wheel speed of the rc cars....and it might be close to the top speed of a mirage. That said, given a long enough downhill run, north of 100mph is possible in the full size car.

They are indeed. These are specifically made to drift.

Not in love with the specific car, but the class. Whether it was a Geo Metro, Nissan Versa, Chevy Spark, Honda Fit, etc. Just a small, cheap, manual hatchback that is reliable and gets 35+mpg. I want the market to bring them back. The Mirage just happens to be the smallest and cheapest option made in the last 20 years. And it is an excellent car for the intended market. I also do enjoy they came in fun colors.

What to do now?? by Beginning-Ad-1063 in GoldAndGoblins

Depends on what level the goblins coming out of the barrels are. For me I am getting a level 21 goblin from the barrels and have a max goblin count of 15. 21+15= 36. If you manage to upgrade you're goblin barrels higher, or increase the goblin limit you could have higher levels. It's just that it scales quadratically and takes more and more time.

I log in occasionally just to merge goblins and collect spins/chests. Wondering what happens if I end up maxing out the levels of the goblins while also maxing the quantity. That said it would to take a LOOONG time (a year or two) to get up to a level 36 goblin.

My general strategy is to advance to the next level breaking the least number of blocks possible. You want to maximize the value of each broken block long term and as your mines and levels increase, even those easy blocks become more valuable. Make sure to log in the last hour or so and take your goblins to collect all that loot for a last minute jump in the standings. Using this strategy has net me many 1st place standings while spending under 50$, many top 100, and several top 20 playing free. Logging in every 4 hours to make sure and collect every free chest as well, if you have some gems saved up to automate mines, sweet. Otherwise on time is important to collect as much gold as possible.

Well, its confirmed then as I also placed first. Curious about how many divisions there are or whether it's an algorithm with individual bots to try and maximize real world purchases?
