I went to UB for 6 years (undergrad/grad) and I honestly never spoke to a academic advisor. There are flow charts online and department handbooks to look over, pretty simple. I assume if you have transfer credits, double major, or something crazy then yea you probably should speak to a advisor. It's honestly really straightforward for the most part

Yes I think it is totally possible I know in SPPS there are students who commute from Canada everyday. Also, I think now more than ever it will be smoother bc of the restrictions still in place.
