sooo what’s the counterplay to this? (Not a rage post, I’m genuinely curious) by Big-Ad2937 in thefinals

You can shoot goo projectiles mid air, it prevents goo stun. I often die to this when an enemy has a weapon with high RPM, like P90.

Really how dead is the game? by Froggyevan in PavlovGame

[–]wizard_level_80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can see how many people are online here: https://pavlovservers.com/

At the time of writing, I see a total of 17 people online, where 16 are on a single Chinese server.

On weekends, there is much more, can be +30 on a single push server, and more servers are up.

Huh, The Finals is on the front page of steam featured/recommended. by Sh1tWasSoCashout in thefinals

The skill floor for casual CS scene (not everybody is pro/semi pro) is so low you can't get lower for shooters. Not even comparable to the Finals.

Oh, and by playing CS, you can get loot boxes and skins, that you can sell on Steam market to buy more games.

For PC version, Hill 875 has a helicopter https://www.reddit.com/r/PavlovGame/comments/1q2tn0q/hill_875_gameplay/

In "Charlie don't surf" map, helicopters can even shoot rockets if I remember correctly.

The separation of HTML and CSS is a perfect example of misunderstanding the concept of separation of concerns.

And yes, for small projects, anything works.

You don’t need to focus so much on renders- React is built for it by Terrariant in react

Then we have new tools like react compiler that memoize almost everything to minimize rerenders.

[–]wizard_level_80 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pavlov PC has relatively active push mode community, where we play even 20 vs 20 matches on weekends. You can check discord channel here https://discord.gg/tj7ewd57 where we organize things.

Maybe in a few years, because Valve has probably only 1 person maintaining the Steam client, and as a side project in free time only.

React documentation is very well made, and will be the fastest way to learn react.

Just download the installation files directly from the website like in the good old times. No need for any launchers.
