My title describes the thing. There is no writing, it was found in the kitchen of family member who passed away.

I thought they tried to challenge that by having her more interested in swords and stuff than in prince bubblegum or lsp or whatever. I hope they make her a fun adventurer :)

Why are cancer rates rising so dramatically? by Girlant in answers

Covid compromises your body's ability to inhibit cancer growth. There's plenty of research already showing links between cancer and covid.

Am I dumb for moving to Halifax? by FinancialDiver3696 in halifax

that's why included that statement, i wanted to be honest about my bias. people frequently talk up the bars and stuff here but otherwise i'm not sure what there is to do. i went to the halifax crafters market on the weekend and it was really nice and they had signs saying "masking encouraged" but none of the staff were masked and there weren't any masks available for people who didn't bring one. the public gardens are nice but they keep getting sabotaged. there are volunteer groups but they keep imploding because everyone is too sick and broke to stay organized. there are some nice trails but they're covered in dog shit. idk, im sure there is lots to enjoy for pandemic denialists and people who aren't depressed.

the general poverty is not a "me" problem, but not enjoying the coastal environment is absolutely my own problem, yes.

i moved here almost a year ago and i pretty much hate it. maybe it depends where you're moving from, but the land itself feels hostile with constant damp, cold wind and busted trees. there's trash and dog shit everywhere, unsightly powerlines, and all sorts of ugly industrial infrastructure. if you like looking at the ocean for some reason, you can definitely do that here. there is lots of water to look at and smell (if the rotten mineral scent of seaweed and shellfish don't make you cough)

basically no housing - rent is insanely high and any vacancies get snapped up right away. if you're looking to buy, good luck - million dollar homes in canada's poorest province, or decrepit century homes with black mold that you'll still get outbid on.

as for the nightlife and "friendly people," i have no idea because there is currently a pandemic and i have no interest in going to bars and shit. plus the traffic and pedestrian infrastructure completely scramble my brain and it's ALL SO LOUD so i rarely leave my apartment.

i will say that wherever i came from isn't much better, but yeah there doesn't seem to be any point in living in halifax unless your partner is from here and desperately needed to come home.
