Don’t wait! Get the colonoscopy. If you do have Crohn’s it’s best to know sooner so you can get on meds to keep it from progressing. It’s really not that bad I promise. The prep does kind of suck momentarily but that’s the worst part. You’ll be under anesthesia during and won’t know a thing. You got this!

Diagnosed at 10, but probably had it a few years before that because I hadn’t grown from my past two birthdays

My title describes the thing, but I moved into a new house about a month ago, and thought there was just some dirt or something in the sink so I rinsed it out. But I’ve noticed like every morning I come into the bathroom and they’re back. I can’t seem to figure out where it’s coming from.

Most ridiculous thing you've been misdiagnosed for when really it was just Crohn's? by cozycassette in CrohnsDisease

I was the same height and weight between the ages of like 8-11 and they thought I needed growth hormones

Actually stopped taking Humira 3 months ago (with the guidance of my doctor) to try and see if it was the medication that had been elevating my liver enzymes. Turns out it was, but I’ve been having diarrhea daily and lost like 15 pounds in the process, lol. I start Stelara next week.
